Deltarune pronoun sperging update: now it's been decided that Kris is canonically non-binary.
Well, it was bound to happen that way; only question is that if it'll set a precedent for the rest of the enbies.

Speaking of which, their tranny janny is sad because he will never get shaved by a fancy laser to be a real woman, and the ADHD autosexual genderbread dude that I occasionally post about is in love with fictional characters. Yes, it's about as retarded as this random comment.

"Deaf culture "

Go fuck yourself. My sister is nearly deaf and she never let the shit define her as a person. If you let your disability define you as a person you're a selfish cunt.
These are the same people happy to let low-functioning people suffer so they can feel special

Deaf culture rofl. People who can't hear are losing 1/5th of the normal human sensory experience. That's like saying having no eyeballs is a culture.
It sounds reetarded, but some deaf people have a cult thing going in their community.

They'll try to turn people's adult children against their parents if the parents aren't also deaf, because, "They don't understand you."

There are some real scumbag deaf people. I know that sounds weird, but it's absolutely true.

I had a friend who did part time work as an interpreter, and they said that there were some parents that were both deaf, but their kid was deaf in a way that could be solved with cochlear implants, and wouldn't do it so that their kid would be a part of deaf culture.

Personally, it honestly makes me MATI. If there's a chance I can give my kid a head start, even if it means they won't be as attached to the culture as me, then my kid is getting that advantage, even if it means sacrificing some of my personal preference.

That's another controversial thing with some of them that really shouldn't be, because like you said who wouldn't want their kids to have that advantage if they could?

There is also a ton of misinformation spread around about cochlear implants, for instance, they leave a giant scar (they don't and didn't even leave that big a scar when the technology was brand new in the 1980's IIRC.)

They made a movie somewhat recently, I haven't watched it but I remember seeing the trailer. It's about a rock musician that starts going deaf.

From people who have watched it, I've heard it's full of lies and nonsense about cochlear implants, including the lie about them leaving huge scars, despite the movie taking place in somewhat recent times.

It's just a really gross attitude they have. I can't imagine denying my children something that would open up entire new experiences to them.

Could you imagine if there was some surgery that would make your kid walk again, but you convinced them not to have it because you can't walk either and you don't want them to be able to do something you can't do?

People would think you're a monster. This isn't much different imo.

Good God I hate that trope so much. So do the tropers not care about what the villains crimes are? Just if their politically correct or not.

Seriously I never heard about some deaf people trying to make their community into a cult before. You learn something new everyday
