"I won't deny that Fighteer has been integral to the site for a long time, so I won't advocate to "oust" him out of power because it's stupid and not practical, but I would at least like him to mellow out his attitude a bit. A few tropers have left the site because of the broken trust his attitude creates." - Some dumb anime-avatar troper who played Genshin too much.

You are looking at the main problem and simply "not doing anything" is not the answer. Just kick him out for fucks sake. How re'tarded can you actually be?

Doesn't Fighteer have some higher rank or seniority? This anime guy probably doesn't want to rock the boat and lose janny status himself.

"Just kick him out" is easy enough to say when the anime avatar guy trying to kick him out isn't a janny.

There are only two ways that a janny can be ousted on TV Tropes - the admins fire their asses or they resign voluntarily. And since the chance of Fighteer resigning after eleven years of holding the crown is zero, there's no way to kick him out unless the admins do it.

Bearing in mind the entire company that ran the site was sold off in July 2021 to another company, and the last time the admins showed up was 2018, that's extremely unlikely. Unfortunately for the anime guy, Fighteer will probably be the head janny for eternity and anyone who disagrees with him will probably be banned like they always are.
