Or Haruhi
Haruhi infested so many pages that it actually ended up being a, and I quote, "meme" on TV Tropes.
Just what I expected from a community of autists.

This is why so much fanfic is plotless garbage with cardboard cutout characters, i.e., just a bunch of tropes autistically strung together by someone who doesn't even know why they "work" in a good fiction.

It's an offshoot of Moral Event Horizon, which is again supposed to be a completely unforgivably heinous act that takes the perpetrator beyond the point of no return as an irredeemable villain. But it's full of retarded pet peeves that upset some autist.

This is why you don't create wikis on Cuckdom.

Be wary of anyone who edits Complete Monster (and its sub-categories).

There was an exhaustive cleanup thread. Fighteer was forced to weigh in. Now there is an approval process. It still attracts a lot of garbage edits and edit wars. You can tell the mods don't want to set foot in that viper pit, because they usually suspend/ban and then consider the matter closed.

It's one of those umbrella terms that, honestly, shouldn't exist. Stuff like this is catnip to autists.

I suspect in large part because of a difficulty with uncertainty, of things being unclear. This can stimulate a tendency to want to label someone a Monster and stick to it.
The problem with Complete monster is that they say it's not a badge of honor for a villain, but it feels like it is at times. Do very hypocritical in my opinion.
Go to a page where it would be completely inappropriate and if there's an MLP section take a drink.
My liver will be destroyed if I did that

The cheapest option is to go with Miraheze, because they don't have Fandom's rules. Alternatively, you can host a MediaWiki setup yourself or try Wikidot.

...there is, of course, PmWiki. But as we've seen with TV Tropes, I wouldn't wish my worst enemy to set up a site with it.

it's all Joss Whedon's fault why internet pop culture is so bad.
The first time most people experienced anything meta was in the 90s. Joss was riding the wave.

Wayne's World is a dumb stoner comedy. Part of what made it such a success was the self-referential gags. It felt subversive. Same thing with the Scream series. You have characters who KNOW they are in a horror movie, and that there are "rules."

This man is 45, nearly 50, and he still talks like a teenager.
"Boingy boingy."
:horrifying:

I used to be indifferent.

Now I'm starting to wonder if TVT isn't doing actual harm to these kids. Everything is either black or white, good or evil, hero or Nazi.

Looking back, I think Role-Ending Misdemeanor and similar topics (ex: Hostility on the Set, Wag the Director) should be scrubbed. I've contributed a fair bit to those pages, but a lot of it is subjective.

It makes you realize how Enter became such a "celebrity" over there.
