I landed on the Byronic Hero page and noticed it had a Real Life tab. Thought, "That's a weird trope to ascribe to real people, but alright." I read further, and...

...christ, when will these nerds stop worshiping him like this and develop real hobbies
What I have to ask is why even include a "Real Life" subpage at all?

Not everything needs to be applied to real life. But no, their :autism: knows no bounds.

If you ever hear someone on the internet claim they had abusive parents or were bullied as a kid, it's 99.9% likely they're at least dramatizing it to get pity points, ass pats, and, in the case of Enter, to get speds to agree with his autistic viewpoints on MEAN SPIRITED HUMOR!tm.
Even if he was legitimately abused, why should I give a shit? It has no bearing on his content and that's business for him and the therapist I don't wish him on. You're not heroic for dealing with a shitty hand in life.

Also, the phrase "struggles with his own passion" sounds like an answer you'd give in a job interview as your greatest weakness.

Speaking of Tropes and Real Life. If you value your sanity don't ever visit Their 2010s or "Useful Notes" 2010s pages. Why? Well if you do you will be treated to TV Tropes :autism: and Social Justice filled attempts to explain current events and trends. It only gets worse when they start assigning Tropes to this decades events and trends. By the way Yes they do cover politics and it is just as much of an :autism: and SJW Cluster Fuck as you would imagine.

Well considering Enter I'm probably sure he was punished and yelled a lot as a kid...Still, that's no excuse for him to be forever bitter about it.

They all think they're real life Mr. Darcys, when in fact they're just not.

A few months ago I checked it out. And yeah, it seemed like a hipster had written it. Man buns, hipster diets, fat unibrowed girls...It was like a tumblr blog in written form.

So I've been playing through GTA San Andreas again. TV Tropes has these "your mileage may vary" pages where all the opinionated autism is supposed to go, not that it ever stops them. San Andreas' YMMV page is just baffling, though. There's a lot of focus on CJ (your player character) being portrayed as a good guy and it not meshing with the rest of the game; in particular, they single out Deconstruction (a really forgettable and kinda dumb San Fierro mission) as being "cruel":

Thing is, this isn't even close to the cruelest mission the game has you do. The mission right before it has you killing a valet, stealing a car and planting drugs in it to ruin the DA's career. Why? He was told to do it. There was a few early game missions for OG Loc where you had to steal Madd Dogg's rhymebook and drown his manager to ruin his career. CJ is told to kill on tons of missions, you rob four banks, you're encouraged to jack cars, and CJ calls himself an asshole in some of his pedestrian dialogue. Where does the game portray him as a good guy?

At least Deconstruction has a point; they catcalled his sister and said she looked like a hooker, so he fucks them up using the tools he has at hand. A dick thing to do, sure, but find me a good guy in any GTA game. Also, it's so ridiculous, you can't find it the least bit chilling.

like, first off, who gives a shit?
secondly,
It takes dedication to comb through a three or four hour stream of a youtuber that they despise to find a single instance of a slur. The wonders of autism.
that's just the strange powers of autism. like how pol spent 2 days or so looking for a flag in the middle of nowhere with birds and stars, these autists just use it to comb through people's streams to see if they said something offensive.

At least the time lord thing was most likely a joke, this seems more like sincere projection.

That statement could very well apply to the entire site. It started out as mostly ironic shitposting before it became sincere autism and cringe.

The Time Lord bit was confirmably a joke. A long overdone and run into the ground joke, but it was an actual joke.

The "X character has autism" shit, yeah, that's definitely projection.
