jesus christ how horrifying

Huh? It looks like it came from some animator from YT that utilizes cheap animation for laughs and shock would make.

as steven universe,Clarence, and loud house have proven, it's not the end of the world if LGBT characters were given notable roles in cartoons. the thing is, however, I'm not sure if it's enough for mine. sometime ago, i had an idea of something to jem in some respects, with a more sci fi edge and a male protagonist who isn't afraid to show off his femininity. this has been done before obviously, it's just that the protagonist is pan (not pan-sexual, the romantic orientation). i feel like i just can't get away with that, especially on television. then, i intend on introducing some non-binary peps here and there sooner or later.

all of these obstacles that feel aren't pitchable. "so why not make a web series?" well I'm making the web comic but I'm not sure if a web animation series would get enough traction. also, I'm not even sure if Netflix would be down with the idea. so now I'm left with is fear of if it's even marketable.

We don't need any non-binary snowflakes on our cartoons.

Kids don't understand sexuality. They don't understand sexual attraction and they certainly don't understand what love actually is. But now you have idiots like this guy trying to put in "non-binary" characters into cartoons. I don't think stuff like this is really for kids, it's more for these special snowflakes who want to validate their insanity.

Yes and no. Part of the reason so many cartoons suck is because the creators don't give children enough credit. Kids are a lot smarter than we think, and they certainly do understand things like love and attraction. Just not on the same terms as adults.

Sure, a kid can understand that men can love men and women can love women and that's perfectly fine.

I don't think we should go into sexual stuff, though.

Showing my Autism here, but I'd say Loud House does a good job of putting LGBT characters into the show, just showing that one of the characters has two dads and not treating it like a huge deal, that's all that needs to be done.

Going back to my rant on "Absolute Territory" earlier, CrazyGoggs made a video on how creepy it was a few years back.

Only a few seconds in and I see the phrase "Ecchi/Hentai Anime". I'm guessing "Ecchi" is how Japanese people say "H", which is short for "hentai". You're saying the same thing twice.

Hentai isn't a genre, it just means depraved, and it's used to describe works which are, well, depraved. Like what TV Tropers masturbate to.

Then we have ponies. Of course we have ponies.

I love how a lot of them are pointing out the franchise is aimed at kids, as if long socks are somehow scandalous.

Ah, the This Troper / Troper Tales videos were golden. They actually forced Fast Eddie to lean over to his keyboard and gas the whole thing.
