Discuss and debate what Trump will do in the next 4 years to make America great again.

Trump plans to impose tariffs on Chinese goods. Will this have a negative or positive impact on the American economy?

Dream outcome: He guts 90% of the government to get rid of the bureaucratic bloat, forces through voter ID laws (and other such laws) nationwide, kicks out every illegal scumbag, rescinds the Visas on 98% of those who were given them under Biden, builds the fucking wall, uses the US's military might to re-establish order (not wars, no boots on the ground either), puts China back in their place through tariffs and passes legislation to get rid of the various avenues where gross corruption is going on at capital hill.

Probable outcome: He manages to keep the US ship afloat and pass through much needed border control reforms while cutting some of the fat from the government. He otherwise keeps things moving forward and re-strengthens the economy Biden crippled.

Nightmare outcome: We have a more extreme repeat of his first term where everyone and their mother leaps in his way to sabotage everything he does. Meaning that almost nothing gets done in 4 years.

His immigration policy will be just like his first term, so still fewer deportations than Obama and shitloads more visas and naturalizations.

Despite the memes and all... the only reason Trump "won" is because the Democratic Party was about to put some roadblocks against JEWISH interest, and the Republican Party was the one that didn't do that. If it wasn't for the Israel vs. Palestina shitshow, I think it would have been more tied.

TL;DR
More gibs to Israel, less to Ukraine.

Well, I look forward to more tax cuts for the rich, tariffs that mean you have to bail out farmers again, and whatever is in Project 2025. Let's ban porn and any movie or video game that has suggestive or obscene themes.

I hope he makes McDonald's kid friendly again and cheaper so I can take my kids there on occasion and watch them feel the same happiness I remember as a kid.

Also, bring back Beef Tallow for the fries.

I'm mostly hoping for his plan to build houses on federal land to go through. I want a house instead of an apartment. But in reality, we're probably not gonna get a whole lot done, even with the house and senate belonging to the Republicans.

Let's start with freeing the Jan 6ers and investigating the 16 million fake votes from 2020.

I am a man of low expectations. I like his style, I like his ability to meme, but I think a slight reduction in the collapse of the west is all we can hope for. Maybe he can convince his Jewish friends that they are better off continuing to pull the strings rather than making us extinct and the west a wasteland.

But I'd love to be wrong. His latest video on his plans to stop government agencies (especially the fucking glowies) from working closely with social media (public private partnerships) sounds good, great if he can do even part of this plan.

The best thing about Trump will be proving beyond a shadow of a doubt an unelected bureaucracy runs the USA so it doesn't really matter who is President. It was pretty clear that was the case when he was President last time, I don't understand why everyone has forgotten it now.

His immigration policy will be just like his first term, so still fewer deportations than Obama
Those "deportations" under Obama included encounters between Border Patrol and illegals which ended in turning them back. As in turned back at the time but may or may not have crossed the day after. Those types of encounters hadn't been labeled deportations until Obama's administration changed the language.

All the people claiming Trump is the antiwar candidate forgot his actions in the Syria and the fact that he may be the most philosemitic president in history. Instead of the potential danger of dying in a ditch in the Ukraine we'll be closer than ever to a war with Iran.

Trump says he wants to re-industrialize but also wants to maintain position as the world reserve currency. This is inherently contradictory as something described as "Triffin's Dilemma." -> "the country whose currency is the global reserve currency, that foreign nations wish to hold as foreign exchange (FX) reserves, must be willing to supply the world with an extra supply of its currency in order to fulfill world demand for these FX reserves, leading to a trade deficit.[1]"

>A weak dollar is needed to re-industrialize
>Devaluing the dollar makes imports more expensive
>Tariffs cause inflation
>Weak dollar discourages other countries from holding dollars

Basically when you are the WRC you have to export your inflation; trying to re-industrialize will cause it to come home to roost (in the form of hyper-inflation). If you can just print money and force other countries to accept your currency for their goods (from the barrel of a gun), that's what's gonna happen.

{I'm just a layman so any addendum/corrections are welcome.}
