Looks like Trump will be skipping the next FOX debate. Even better, CNN will be broadcasting Trump's Wounded Warrior event at the same time of the debate. I absolutely love how Trump is quartering the mainstream media into pieces, since FOX stands to lose up to 75% viewers without Trump. Only Trump could stick it to the GOPeasants like this!

This thread gets very little moderation because quite frankly I don't really know where to begin, that said please don't directly insult each other.
Good luck keeping a thread on topic about the very manifestation of absurdity. I don't think there is anything Trump can do or say that wouldn't fit right into an Onion article. Just check out this article from July 2015
The thing is, I’ve got all of you eating out of my hand and I haven’t even released a single campaign commercial yet. Don’t look me in the eye and tell me you don’t want to stick around and see what that looks like, because you and I both know these ads are going to be absolutely incredible. I’ll be standing there projecting my best presidential air, saying “I’m Donald Trump, and I approve this message,” and you won’t be able to take your eyes off it.
And might I remind you that the longer this goes on, the closer I get to selecting a running mate. That realization kind of delighted you in a way, didn’t it? You absolutely want to know who I’d pick. A defeated GOP challenger who hates my guts? Another lunatic billionaire? Maybe my own son, Donald Trump Jr.? Whatever your wildest expectation is, I promise you I will surpass it. You’re not going to pass up an opportunity to see that, are you?
You know what you have to do to make me go away. Just quit paying attention. Stop reading this right now.
That’s right, I didn’t think so. I have the power to make the next 16 months one of the most incredible times in our nation’s history, and not a single one of you can say you’re not at least a little bit curious to see how this wild ride shakes out. So just keep clicking every link that mentions my name and hitting play on every clip of my public appearances, and I promise you will not be disappointed.

Donald Trump broke The Onion back in 2015

I often see conspiracy folks throw the 'Their own mysterious unexplained end goals" into the mix. So tell me, what exactly does the political elite gain from importing the "Millions and millions of Muslims" (A complete fabrication in the USA's case). Surely if most of them where hardcore Islamists surely the political elite would be importing people who wanted them dead?

Or you're just a loony. Yeah, I'll go with that.
If I were you I would seek to understand human nature and power before I would look for the answer to that question.

Even the way this forum works demonstrates that truth.

The funny thing is, the media has been complicit in Trump's ascendancy. He generates buzz because he says and does things that are controversial. Since the press has moved into a "controversy = money" business scheme, covering Trump like cheese on pizza makes good business sense to them. Who cares if the things he says are batshit insane? The media will eat it up and regurgitate it in exchange for ratings.

"The more you hate it, the stronger it becomes". Even liberals grinding their teeth about him feed el Trumpo.

Trump wouldn't be where he is today if not for the Streisand Effect.
The Republicans and Democrats had a chance to stop Trump. had. Not only did they throw away every opportunity to dump Trump, they couldn't even execute the most simple of political hitjobs. The total ineptitude of the Republicans and the Democrats reveal that they are incapable of dealing with even the weakest common enemy. When Trump wins, we are going to witness the death of the two-party system that has existed since the Civil War, and truth be told, it was an inevitability anyways. Now who's ready to make America Great Again?
Trump - 28
Cruz - 23
Rubio - 15

Amen, the law of attraction, the more you aknowledge something, the stronger it manifests
This is all happening because SJWs are stupid enough to believe that people don't have the brain power to question anything...just like they believe Syrians, and people from the south of the border are wonderful people with the potential to clean their toilets and not rape their wives.

I'm gathering those numbers are supposed to represent an election poll but which one? Is it a nationwide poll or one that was confined to certain state? Either way, Iowa is voting on monday and based on all the polls listed on wikipedia it looks like Trump will win this state. If he'll take New Hampshire on the next week (very likely based on all polls conducted this year) and South Carolina afterwards (very likely again) I see him as guaranteed to win the nomination. Even if he doesn't win one of those states I can't rule out the chance that he'll overcome his Republican opponents.

Things have gone out of control for both sides of the political aisle. The Republicans encouraged the Tea Party out of fear that they needed more political power with their traditional base literally dying of old age and as a buffer against what is sometimes called the "Coalition of the Ascendant(basically collage educated whites, ethnic minorities, single women, etc.) that the Democrats began to rely on after Clinton. They in turn agitated them in an attempt to prevent Democratic gains in off-election years because the Democratic base is notoriously lazy about those. This worked and emboldened them to a point that the establishment could no longer control them. Which leads to people like Trump being able to take advantage of the fact that the electorate probably wants the powers that be mounted on a pike. Combine that with the possibility of the Left eating itself over its increasing ideological rot as seen in the social justice warriors(which gives the Right ammo and disincentivizes rational, constructive actors on the Left from acting to mitigate excesses) and you have a Kafkaesque perfect storm of lunatics, freaks, and incompetents gaining large amounts of political capital despite having no fucking idea what to actually do with it. You have the typical Tea Party crazy getting worse and worse. Then you have the shitty career politician that screams petty crook, who's only political accomplishments are getting elected in a notoriously corrupt state in which she hadn't before lived and possible mismanagement of State Dpt. resources, that still has the nomination clinched by virtue of having a vagina. I fear for this place.

Tomorrow's the first day of the big Primary season.

You doubters finally ready to say "Yes, Trump is gonna get the nomination"?

Even if Cruz were to win tomorrow, he has no good footing in NH or South Carolina.

Candidates like Marco, Jeb! or even Ben Carson just are too far behind in anything to make a surprise victory. Perhaps, Marco has a chance with Iowa, being in 3rd place, but similar rumors are flying for, surprisingly, Kasich as well.

Seriously though guys, anything can happen tomorrow, for everyone from Rand Paul to Martin O'Malley.

Who the Hell else was it going to be?

Jeb! was doomed from the start. Nobody my age (exactly 29) wants to say that "On our 30th Birth year, we saw the 3rd Bush become President".

Marco was cute on paper, but thats all.

Rand Paul is actually a little ideal but was doomed for similar reasons as Jeb!.

Chris Christie is a fat, bemoaning, undeserving ass-wipe who sold out the 2012 election.

Kasich, et all are too unfamiliar.

Santorum doesn't deserve it after dropping out in 2012, for reasons that apparently apply to his sick daughter, but it all fed into Mitt Romney being "The Man" in 2012.*

Huckabee I love(d), but he understandably has no footing.

* Luckily, this year has no "The Man" for the GOP, ensuring all along Trump was going to win.

If Trump becomes elected, he would be a good insult comic at his opposing politicians and world leaders.

I look forward to Trump's upcoming Pope bashing spiel.

And thanks to movements like Tuck Frump, more and more people are considering to vote for Trump.
