I don't know much about half the people you referred to (I don't keep that much of a close eye on the other side of the pond). I'm just asking American Kiwis not to make us socialist scum in the UK suffer by choosing a president who'll treat us like the 51st state and force us into another military wild goose chase in some god-forsaken hellhole somewhere.

Have you considered doing something other than electing a string of Tony Bliar-style sycophants who just do whatever the tard in the White House says?

Well, I've voted that way. My countrymen seem to be feeling a bit masochistic at the moment though. Our next election's 5 years away anyway.

Speaking of Blair, I hope the bastard runs out of money to suppress the Chilcot Inquiry soon. I'm sure it'll make an excellent read.

Unfortunately, anyone who doesn't fit into the mainstream in Britain tends to be slightly mad. Corbyn's so far left we're back in 1983, with about as much chance of a Labour victory, Farage is a fanatical nationalist with economic policies more Right Wing than the Tories, and the Greens and Lib Dems are all people who want to merge Britain into an EU Superstate. Effectively, we're about as fucked with our candidates as you Americans are with your merry band of madmen.

Its too bad I didn't live in England during the time of Margaret Thatcher.

Haha, today, that would be an interesting comparison with Hillary.

You say that like it's a bad thing. I for one welcome the opportunity to live to see Thatcher's legacy undone.

I wouldn't be so sure. After all, he was just elected leader of the Labour Party with a larger mandate than any party leader in our political history.

I'm reasonably sure Labour lost in 1983 because of the Falklands War. Even if they hadn't, I don't think it's wise to assume that 2015's socio-political climate is the same as 1983's, or that 2020's will be.

A bit hyperbolic, I think. Hell, I voted Green in May and I'm wary of the EU at best.

And as long as voters take that kind of attitude, you're absolutely right.
Sanders is 20 points behind, has significantly less money, is regularly attacked from the left by Hillary under the triangulation strategy, and the one area where he can gain an advantage he refuses to take advantage of out of a misguided sense of party loyalty. The second he said "we're tired of hearing about your damn emails," he gave up any chance he had of winning. Unless Hillary's endicted, she'll get the nomination, and this is a family who beat the rap with DNA evidence of their guilt.

This isn't a question of "with that kind of attitude." This is a question of "I wanna bang Emma Watson for Christmas." That has roughly the same chance of happening as Bernie does of winning.

I would never insult Margaret Thatcher by comparing her to Hillary Clinton.

Nah, Thatcher's not the saint I imagine Reagan tried to make her look like in the States. She turned a blind eye to the rampant paedophilia of her subordinates and let her cabinet more or less decay into a VIP paedophile ring. Hell, she got MI5 to help her cover their asses.

Kinda makes me angry that her cultists forced us to pay for a state funeral for her.

Nah, they're both more or less equals. Thatcher loved fraternising with paedophiles, hell, her cabinet supposedly looked like the court of Caligula.
The whole country was guilty of falling for Saville, regardless of political affiliation. He was your Bill Cosby. And the sex ring in general fooled many serious people on all sides.

The same cannot be said for Hillary Clinton. Even the attacks from her from the parts of the left which are actually sensible show her being one of the nation's biggest crooks.

It's not misguided to refuse to act like such a shit in the primary that whoever wins it is doomed to lose the general election because their campaign has already been holed below the waterline by their "fellow" partisans.

That's what the Republicans are doing now.

Talking more about the Lib Dem party policy than any individual voters really.

I'd argue that her chief legacy was the greed culture that helped foster these arseheads who insist on leeching off the taxes of the rest of the nation. I'm not talking about immigrants, I'm talking about these spoiled, entitled fools who were raised believing that they could get something for nothing.

And that part of her legacy should be removed. Anyway, back to US shit, English politics has no real place here.

It's this same line of reasoning that has allowed the Clinton's and other crooks to flourish.

Go back and look. Even from a partisan standpoint, can you really say the country would've been worse off with H.W. Bush or Dole or Gore as President, all three of which had the chance to take his place? If so, why? Would Bob Dole have pimped out Arlington cemetery to one of his donors? Would H.W. Bush paint an intern he cheated on his wife with as a stalker? Would Al Gore have blown up a medical facility to distract from his perjury trial?

No? Then why must those who say they want the best candidate for President continue to give the Clinton's a free pass? This is exactly the kind of blind partisan behslavior the Republicans get pushed down a flight of stairs when they tolerate.

You forgot murdering Vince Foster and running a giant cocaine ring.
I don't know if this is sarcastic, but the Clinton's are crooked enough to where no one needs to make shit up about them to paint them in a bad light.

You don't need to pretend David Koresh wasn't a pedophile to validate and point out that Clinton executed a black man who lobotomized himself in a suicide attempt to avoid the Willie Horton treatment and distract from the Gennifer Flowers scandal.

I hope you guys fix the rampant corruption in your military
1 trillion $$$ for a fighter jet that is inferior and more expensive to planes it was supposed to replace.
I don't know why you need 600 billion dollars yearly budget while Russia and China can maintain a sizeable military with literally 10% of that budget.

Anyway if someone gives me a status in the election I would be glad,American politics are confusing as fuck.
