he started emailing one of the podcast hosts with information about the Melissa Whit murder and who he thinks is responsible, how the murder took place, etc. and the host believed the purpose was to intimidate/scare her, or mock her. I propose - he was probably writing it to sexually pleasure himself at the thought of the woman dying as well as the idea of the host being scared by him.
