I was explaining Dylan and Days of Boyhood to a pro-troons friend (he's fine otherwise, he just works in media so he kind of has to convince himself or at least pretend to to keep his job).
He said, "So Chad's a trans man?"
"Chad is a woman who has no idea what it's like to be a man, but gives it a go anyway based on what she thinks it is, because she thinks it'll be fun."
"Oh! Like the Pulp song 'Common People' where the posh girl tries to be working class?"
"Yes, exactly, you've got it!"
And I don't think I've ever heard such a perfect description of troons in general. From a troon supporter too.

Self aware wolves moment. I think I've used that song as an analogy before too. It's not necessarily that troons don't face discrimination, it's just that they could end it at any time by "boymoding" or "girlmoding." So they are never going to experience it the same way as someone who is stuck there.

There is a strong comorbidity between being a janny and being a tranny. Is this because the pressure of being a janny breaks people and makes them troon out? Or is it because trannies are naturally drawn to positions of power? These are questions modern science is yet to answer.

Those are also the people who has a huge incentive to control other people's speech.

Being a janny mainly requires a lot of time wasted on petty online bullshit, and willingness to neglect your actual life.

Easier if you don't have an actual life.
