These people must be very boring to talk to. Their gender identity is their defining trait. What else do they do? Hobbies? Talents? They sound like the cure for insomnia tbh.

This is a huge disconnect I have with what they're talking about, I have no idea how somebody can just talk about sexuality/gender for such an extended period of time likely every day. It's such a boring, uninteresting, self-centered topic that in the grand scheme of things amounts to absolutely nothing. Wouldn't an actual trans person just want to transition, be seen as the gender they perceive themselves as then move on with their lives? What is all of this overthinking pseudo-science nonsense? How many terms have they invented for this to try and make it sound like it has some kind of legitimacy?

Actual transpeople just live as their preferred gender and don't make a fuss about it. The people who wed their identity to transgenderism either have nothing to offer or something to hide as we've seen many times on this forum.

Quite a few of them are massive attention whores, and their whole internet identity revolves around doing the new hip thing for attention. Being bi, gay, and self diagnosing yourself with conditions was the new hip thing just a few years ago. Tumblr and related communities don't care if people with the actual conditions are hurt by the bullshit they spew out as long as it lets them be "quirky" (remember when headmates were the new trend?).

Furthermore, being trans is one of the easiest ways to advance yourself near the top of the victim ladder in social justice, especially if they're a white cis male. If they're depressed as hell, they might think being a woman will solve all their problems. If they're into shemale porn or watching tranny camwhores, they might want to fulfill their sexual fantasy by becoming the tranny they jerk off to.

This is why so many of those people will not go through surgery, voice feminization, or even attempt to pass. It's not uncommon to see someone like this with facial hair and in some cases a beard. Maybe the most you'll see them do is grow their hair out and go on HRT (likely obtained from an "informed consent" clinic that hands out anyone HRT) and this can have terrible consequences (See: Narcissa/Cosmo Wright). While it's one thing to keep dressing up as the gender you don't want to be and refuse to take hormones if you live with parents who have made it clear they would disown you for coming out, quite a few people with threads on this forum have made it clear they're living alone, homeless, or with other troons.

Eventually this becomes their entire internet identity to the point of burning bridges with anyone who dares question if they're making the right choice, anyone who acts "transphobic", and any random person that dares to mock their overuse of "they/them" or other pronouns. I know someone who threw a fit because a musician they liked decided to block him on Twitter because he dared mock that person's pronouns, and he ended up getting blocked when he caved in and apologized with other accounts as well.

Tranny memers get ultra offended when memed on with attack helicopter jokes.

Being offended by "traps are/aren't gay" jokes, only on reddit.

And debating in the comments of that about trans characters in anime.

This is just proof that r/traaaaaaaannnnnnnnns is full of autogynephilic weebs. I’d probably go so far as to say they’re also NEETs. I’m getting 4chan vibes here. Not in terms of shitposting, but in terms of user base.

Autists are massively disproportionately represented among troons (8%, as opposed to only 1% of people in general), so it's not surprising that "autistic culture" is more common.

This is also why so many more of them are lolcows, not because trooning out innately makes someone a lolcow.
