I got a Devestation Optimus but ONE PIPE IS MISSING ITS MAKING ME TARDRAGE.

No idea, just like I have no idea why devastation optimus' parts are pegged in rather than just being part of the shoulder.

Legacy Commander armada optimus with no trailer or arm cannons" I brought up and I think posted at some point months ago i got for a little under leader price is still one of my favorite things I got the last few years but it's been a pain in the ass trying to get replacement smokestack guns for him. There's 3d printable files someone's selling that make them more anime accurate but I don't have a 3d printer, and there were chrome upgrade part kits for them listed from ebay china sellers but they were sold out when I found the listing and they never restocked.

A lot of public libraries have 3d printers that are free to use, you might be able to do it that way.

I'd need to buy the file and then find a way to put it on there, and also I don't think library 3d printers are as fine as I'd need for so small of a part

i got these on a good sale, it's been to long for me to check back into the "japanese exclusive" figures, and it's weird to be holding a full box with plastic inlay after all these years.
i would not tell you to pay full price for importing this megatron though. it's a kids toy to the core. low articulation, light, messy alt mode.... i got it for under 20 new, and it will only be worth it when i get the limb bots latex next week.
starscream i got for 12, and he is a fenomenal figure. even though the transformation is a bit wobbely.

I keep my ear to the ground on TF IG lolcow potentials. Apparently some crazy bitch named TF.Navi is convinced Optimus is real and the US government is hiding him from her. Some dude named ToneZone on IG has screenshots and whatnot. Can't get them myself atm but I couldn't help but see that he was just as much of a gooner as the chick he was calling out.

Currently, there's a snake oil scheme running featuring overpriced small statuettes (of $3800) of highly questionable quality by Mbilia Studios, and clearly the minimal amount of effort was put into every aspect what with the aesthetic they used, being solid color metal statues with lineart of Marvel comics slathered over seemingly random parts of them) and the AI generated videos of poor quality. Yes, TFWiki hates them so there's that.
Soundwave is the worse of this lot cause he has the most glaring issues with the model they used/made/generated being of poor quality, body parts clipping into each other not adjusted at all, and of course the weird ass gun he has.

This is really bad. At least with Arcee and Ultra Magnus there was some setup and relation between the two for her upgrade to make sense. What makes this horrible is not just the fact they've blitzed any character development and shoehorned Elita as being a new prime which feels incredibly cringe, but also tied Optimus's entire identity to the Matrix, not only with him losing his name but also his iconic appearance. I've held certain hope that this comic was going to be good but i also shouldn't be surprised when the bad writing gives you a massive suckerpunch and i can't expect it to get any better from here. Crazy to think that the last good comic run was from Dreamwave, or IDW under Simon Furman.

Honestly, I feel like Elita Prime is quick because the Matrix is still corrupted. Like when he got rid of Megatron's Fusion Cannon because it was influencing him and then the lingering taint from that corrupted the matrix. Sparkplug being inside saved Optimus from a darker path but it didn't purify the Matrix. Perhaps it's not a girl power thing from 2016 but an intentional ploy by the corrupted Matrix to corrupt Elita but with Sparkplug still being inside I have a feeling that Optimus will get it back eventually and there'll be some Unicron or Quintesson thing tying everything Energon Universe together

Speaking of prices I was gonna pre-order the one figure I was thinking of, liege maximo, but his pre-order price on the cheapest place to get preorders (amazon) shot up to SIXTY TWO FUCKING DOLLARS not including taxes, as well as the pre-order price of all the other leaders. Ones that were previously clearanced I was thinking of getting like red alert also shot back up to full upmarked voyager price which is now what leader price was last year. Yeah I'm fucking just perma-priced out I think. Especially with my money situation in general.
Maybe, MAYBE I'll scrounge together money for liege maximo and a pay in 4 on some third party figure but aside from that? fuck man I can't afford shit no more.
EDIT: Also speaking of third party guys I should mention the third party small sized jet jaguar and tidal wave are "currently shipping to BBTS" at around the same time as each other so I'm gonna need to find a way to grab together money and not be bombed by a sudden huge charge of 100 something because I really do want those two guys I've been waiting for for like a year or so now.
"prime" is quickly turning into what marvel did with venom here I guess where it seems anyone using it is now "NAME HERE prime" not understanding why rodimus prime was the way he was name wise and why that was a narrative choice.
Also "only optimus now?" you mean ORION, right? Or did this comic skip the whole "his name was originally orion pax but he was renamed optimus prime" thing? Literally everyone just calls optimus prime optimus to begin with save for megatron or some guys that work for optimus that call him "prime" most of the time. Weird fucking star wars sequel saga ass writing here.

I think I'm also done with the series after this bullshit. They even stated that the Matrix wouldn't choose someone like Elita-1 just a few pages before this dumb shit. If things don't change in two months I'll stop reading. They way they've been writing Arcee makes her a better leader than this dumb bitch. Why must Elita-1 be written like this in the modern day? She was terrible in IDW and she's terrible now. Also, why the hell wouldn't she want to go after Megatron, the cause of the war? She could end it there and toss the severed head on Cybertron. I swear the writer doesn't know what he's doing page by page.
