You guys were right, Skybound is kino but I did cry a little bit when that scene with Bee and Prime happened sue me
Another scene that's very pivotal is spike dad sacrificing himself for prime. That was tear jerker and I feel like any dad would do that for their son. I always loved the mentor/son dynamic prime and bee shared in other media.

Can't wait for the next two issues to finish off vol 1 of this phenomenal run.

Prediction for the fight.. I think unironically they might kill each other. Double k.o style.

On another note (2 days ago) Chris mcfeely just made a good deep dive into the original g1 pitch Bible( Gen 0). I highly recommend yall give this a watch.

Hightlights
-Sideswipe was going to be optimus love interest
-Starscream was originally going to be a female rival for prime
-bumblebee was green and name toad. With another go bot design in the second pitch Bible

Till next post till issue #24

Skybound is on an absolute generational run, I havent actually been invested in any media in so long. I dont know if megs will die, considering the series already started off without megs until only the last few issues and the megs-less power vaccum was already shown in good depth, but I 100% think prime is dying by the end, with the second volume being the autobots having the same crisis the decepticons started with.

Anyone remember their earliest TF memory? Mine was seeing TFA play on a TV at a restaurant while I was with some family members--particularly the space barnacle episode when Sari suggested that maybe they key would help Prowl.
I think I remember seeing some Transformers Energon anime series in the early morning hours when I was four or five. It was the anime shows with the obvious cgi for the transformers. I also remember I had a Mirage figure that transformed into a blue and white Ford GT. Changing between vehicle and robot mode was a pain in the ass, but the figure was of high quality with some nice little details. The 2007 movie holds a special place in my heart for being fucking awesome a young me.

Seriously hope Hasbro takes notes on this. More robots fighting eachother along WITH emotional scenes, not romance soap operas with bots just talking about feelings and highschool-tier drama. Ratchet is not a fedora-tipping gay with a list of past lovers. You have to believe in a higher power to SOME degree in the medical field. I speak as a daughter of a nurse

Introduced the little screamlings to Rescue Bots. Definitely a hit with them. I'm still catching new quips and lines from the show--even when I'm doing something and not really paying attention. Kevin Altieri needs to be in charge of more kid-focused TF shows.

Watching Transformers 2 in the theater with my dad for my birthday when I was little. I remember being so hyped to see it and leaving the theater thinking it was the coolest movie ever and talking with my friends about it nonstop for a week.

Would a transformers game work in the style of battlefield
Yes and no. Yes, but you would (probably) have to drastically reduce the maximum amount of players on a Battlefield sized map to accommodate so many vehicles. WFC already proved you can have an excellent multiplayer shooter game with transformers.

Now if they flexed their creative muscles a bit, the game could easily accommodate Titans and unique alt modes. Have a class that turns into a stationary weapons platform, or a larger vehicle to transport multiple troops. Have massshifting gunformers that squadmates can use. Have triple changers with air and land modes. Things like that.

I vaguely recall watching G1 on a DVD and it was awesome, especially the Decepticons, who usually had more interesting personalities and designs. However the old DVD has been absent for a long time, i don't even remember who purchased it and these days i could watch the show on either youtube or offline on my PC. But i might just buy the full collection just for sentimental notions while i gradually decay with Habsro still not remastering G1 on bluray

Mine is watching Animated on the weekends as a kid, I rewatched it recently and it's a rare case of something I watched as a kid being as good as I remember.

For some reason none of the shows have been released on bluray, and I'm pretty sure Beast Wars isn't available at all on disc currently.

This is probably showing my age, but I remember picking up my first Transformers toy. I think it was Tarantulas from Beast Wars, and my younger brother got Rhinox.

Also, it's a shame that the series is being neglected in the home media format so badly. I have the DVDs for the original series, the original movie, and the Japanese continuations of G1, but those things seem to be rapidly degrading with age. No scratches or anything, but a few of them have started to skip.

You'd think for the 40th anniversary they would have done a bluray release of G1.

It is strange that Hasbro (and Takara) aren't releasing their shows on Bluray. Especially G1 and The Headmasters (the latter because it's the first japanese transformers anime). It would be cheaper than producing a new show and with how many people value physical possessions and older media, this is essentially free money for both companies and they wouldn't need to brainstorm how a new show would appeal to a certain audience. Only the 1986 movie gets consistent re-releases on Bluray and in 4K quality too

if i had to say what my first toy was, i think it was a micromaster team, but the one i distictly remember was getting skyquake and snarl. i fucking loved the viewfinder gimmick on it, and i'm sure my parents got them both for me purely by chance not knowing they would combine.
and thus they ensured this guy would for the next 40 years go after expensive plastic.(with a short break as a teen because playing with toys is, like, lame.)

Hell yeah, Animated was my jam as a kid. Shame that the Derrick Wyatt passed in 2021 without finishing his dream project. Still I love looking at the show’s artwork. Good times.

How about making the maps have one type of alt mode advantage over another for that type of map
