Love this guys colour scheme. Totally sold on it but I'm afraid to touch it without gloves or extremely clean hands. All that white will get dirty quick.

Vector Prime looks alright. Some great colours on him. A little small though. Alt mod makes it look like it's based off of Jhiaxis, just heavily retool.

They also revealed we're getting yet another Springer. I find the last one would was great so don't know what they'd do with him now. Supposed to be a voyager with additional tooling
Decepticon Trooper should be a good army builder long as they make him as generic as possible. Straxus will be nice to have. I hope he has his cannon mode. It looked a lot like Galvatrons

My favorite thing to do with it was to fold the wings down and the wheels up and make it into a flying truck. After watching Back To The Future 2 as a kid, any sort of flying car or truck that had wheels that rotated down into some kind of hover pads and had wings pop out the side was the coolest thing imaginable to my tiny brain.






So it goes without saying that I lost every single available molecule of my shit when I entered Toys R Us one day and witnessed these Heavenly Objects lying upon the shelf:

Apparently some people get lucky and theirs just never succumbs to the dreaded severe plastic brittling. IMO something people haven't done but should probably do more often is recast the parts out of gold color resin when they start dying. Was actually thinking of trying to get a thunderclash to do this with years ago but never got around to it.

Vector prime should have been a new mold, his alt mode's too iconic and almost every modernized alpha trion has been kind of based on his appearance after the convention exclusive one that was a slight retool of Vector Prime. Even the titans return one from a few years back was based on it.
The misshapen altmode kind of reminds me of g1 Scourge when he got powered up by the Matrix of leadership in the g1 cartoon. I'm actually pretty surprised that not even 3d party companies have done a figure of that.
 
Some more Army builders on the way. Devestation video game Seeker and Ground Soldier (the Runamok looking guys). An Ironfist figure will be released as a Hound partial remold and a Carnivac as a partial remold of Weirdwolf. Darak and Solila from the Skybound comics are getting figures I'm guessing from the 3.25 inch GI Joe line for SDCC.

Been waiting fro them to do the devastation ground soldier guys for a while now since they introduced runamok/runabout a few years ago and I could literally find them nowhere. I'm guessing the devastation seeker is going to be the actual g1 generic purple seeker instead of the "not thundercracker" one from the target 4 pack I only managed to get one of. (really still kinda pissed about missing the discount/clearance on it a few months ago but less for the seeker more for stuff like the autorooper and g2 cybertronian soldier)

To be honest, the influx of queer and retarded content to the fandom was inevitable, that’s what happens when everyone has access to the Internet. :/

I wish this fandom was more focused in lore than in Troon and fag shit.

I'm amazed we haven't seen troon or Pride flag coloured transformers yet to be honest. They're keeping it to just characters no one cares about.

I would instantly watch a Transformers reimagining in the style of old 50's - 60's B-movies. IDW tried to do that with Hearts of Steel and the reception was lackluster. Hearts of Steel was supposed to be the start of a whole "What if the Transformers awakened in X time period/universe" AUs that never panned out.

Hearts of Steel was super cool. However, it had a lot of steampunk, which is something you either love or hate. I think a 50s/60s pulp Transformers would be better received if they didn't have steampunk and just focused on metal and analogue aesthetics.

Don't worry, give em like 5 years and they'll turn that 41 into 101 faster than when Bumblebee annihilated Troon Nightbird.
 
Looking more closely at the MP Super Ginrai it's starting to look okay. I still prefer Power Baser over him, but the alternative heads and better Ginrai is really starting to sell it for me. You also seem to get two heads for the Super mode so you can either have comic or show accurate heads. Despite the colours I'd probably put him on the shelf with the characters with more accurate cartoon colour schemes and keep Power Baser with the more comic book style characters, he was after all quite chunky. His feet in the more recent promo shoots for him don't look to be just hovering there either. Still feel like it's a better attempt at a Ginrai/ Super Ginrai's than KFC Toys version. Not as good as what DX9's Legend class one is though.
 
It looks great, but man, this is going to be super hard to find because it will be a target for both Hot Wheels and Transformers scalpers. There's also a Bumblebee with his face on the bottom, which is going to unfortunately be a mainline release. These would probably be a lot easier to find if they made them their own subline like those Disney cars rather than part of the mainline.

I didn't know this thing was gonna be insta-scalped to hell, what the fuck? I saw it onpre order somewhere a few days ago for really cheap and was like "hmm maybe later" now it's sold out and every place has it for 20 upwards. Fuck man, makes me wonder what causes shit like this to happen. the JA-DA micro ones didn't have this, the last time I saw shit like this happen with some mini car spinoff thing was the fucking running press gi joe HISS from about... nearly a decade ago now? Shit it doesn't feel like that long.
