A pooner who is possibly an intern for biological science in forests, has no one who respects her.

No professional in my field respects me and it’s starting to get to me self.ftm

So I’m a 21 year old nonbinary transmasc pre everything except socially transitioning. My hair is short, I bind daily, I go by a male name and pronouns, etcetera and so forth. But I’m also in biological sciences. I want to study Forest entomology and pathology to assist landowners with their forest health issues. I’ve been working so hard in university becoming the top of my class for my bachelors (graduating with a 3.99 GPA and As in all my graduate-level classes), worked in research labs, published a paper, ran several student organisations, and performed hundreds of hours in volunteer work. I’ve won a UDSA research grant AND won an award at a national conference for my research. Hell, I scored a research scholarship in a different country for crying out loud. But after all this, people still don’t take me seriously.
Of the five labs I’ve worked in (both in summer and during the school year), only one of them has treated me like an actual human person. Every other lab I’ve worked in has either barely acknowledged my existence or genuinely harassed me. The head of the lab I won an award for told me that even after that win, he would never provide me a letter of recommendation. My boss in another lab called me “utterly incompetent and impossible to work with.” My boss in my current lab constantly “corrects” me over minor things and never criticises anyone else for doing the exact same things.
I know it’s for a fact that I’m always the only trans person in the room. Hell, I’m often the only visibly queer person in the room as well. It’s been really eating at my self worth for some time because even if I could transition at this time, I would probably be mocked and judged by these same people and/or wouldn’t be able to find any work in my field until I started passing. I love doing science. I love working in forestry and field work. I love doing this kind of thing, but I’m actively inhibited by the fact that I’m transgender. I just don’t even know what to do anymore because nothing that I do is ever enough for these people.
I know this is all probably pretty niche for a lot of people on here, but does anyone have any advice?

If you find your boss calling you incompetent and impossible to work with that says everything about you and being trans is just the cherry on top.

And another post of a confused girl who wants to feel many but not really.

Screenshot_20260521-065630.Reddit.png

She even acknowledged romanticizing masculinity and just wants to be a big scary man who can vanquish her enemies and have a deep commanding voice.
You can see a little bit of what's called sense trying to stick around in her head, but we all know that won't last on Reddit.

Apparently men are just big scary monsters

how can you be in biological science when you don't understand basic biology? even if she just focuses on studying forests how does she know that a tree doesn't identify as a bush or a bird doesn't identify as a cat?

Some plants even have binary sexes. They are called dioecious plants and require both male and female plants to be planted close enough near each other to reproduce. The kiwi is one, funny enough.

I cant wait for the "my cat is vegan" retards to try to claim their Peace Lilly thats barely clinging to life is transgender.

Actually come to think of it, a living thing with a body thats about to give out due to neglect sounds remarkably like most trannies. Forget I said anything.

Oooh! Such insight! :lit:

A transphobe thinks that a person should be labeled by genitals or gamete production. In either case, the only reason that should come up in casual conversation is if you believe the most noteworthy title of women is as a sex object or baby vessel. Both of which are very patriarchy-brainwashy ways of thinking, reducing people to a materialistic function they can serve to society.
I wonder what he's majoring in. :christine: tee hee

She acts like the world owes her because she had help writing a grant, zero chance she did it alone.
Almost certainly.

She exists between two groups, the first of which is ideologically-bound to see that she "succeeds" at any and all costs, while the second group consists of those whom are made to deal with the bug-obsessed, confused little tuna-melt on a daily basis, and haven't the tolerance or patience to pretend that she is more talented than she thinks herself, and certainly lack the will to clean up her messes or gloss over her incompetence.

What is worse is that she may not be untalented, lazy, or stupid, but her transitivity still makes it impossible to call her out and correct her when necessary, thus she lacks the conditions in which to develop as a scholar and even as a person. ← This is unfortunately applicable to genderbread people as a group, as well as others higher-up on the "progressive stack".

Also, beginning an expositive anecdote with "So, ..." is absurdly feminine, a dead-giveaway. Just so ya know, there, lil dood.

If a pooner's rotdog falls off in the forest, and no one is around to care, does it make a "thud"?

That's it, imma go touch some grass...

Congratulations Reddit, you've discovered the very basis of human sexual dimorphism in that: Females carry the babies. Any value or "service to society" placed on that role is irrelevant to the question of, "What is a female".

Enjoy the one and only reproductive role you had a chance at when you were conceived, dickhead!

A short comic entitled "Welcome to the Internet, Transvestite" is currently making the rounds on Twitter, and to a lesser extent elsewhere.

Many troons are giving it overwhelming praise, from describing how relatable it is, to creating fanart and a TV Tropes page for it

While I reposted the entire comic in the Trans Made Media thread, here is a sample of the content trannies are finding hit too close to home

Why did they make Marvin the Martian into a tranny? Man, he was right after all to try to blow up the Earth...

Kind of along my line of thinking. Winning a grant/award is a different kind of skill set than getting along and working well with people or day to day work in a lab.

Anyway,
Huge L for trannies:
CNN was able to obtain the 2024 DNC Autoposy that the dems suppressed for possibly being harmful. Turns out it revealed that one of the major reasons why dems lost is the infamous “Kamala is for they/them, Trump is for you” ad.

No doubt it was suppressed in an attempt to prevent further trans genocide.

Plus like... nobody wanted to vote for her, period. Even the people who would have voted for her for being a Brown hated her because she was a Cop. The people who put her up there fundamentally failed to understand what the people were asking for.

ETA: Don't give me the political sperging sticker, you fucking posted it!

That line and the thinking along those lines was a chefs kiss and a cherry on top of everything. It's so perfect that it should be immortalized in advertising agencies everywhere forever.

But still totally not social contagion. :christine:

Even when they draw themselves they look ghoulish. Can't even pass when you draw.
My take is seriously not trying to pass. Being a woman is not about passing, pal. :christine::christine:

This faggot writing about ebil /pol/ when they literally weren't even there to see any of it.
Maybe. But don't count in it. :christine::christine::christine: tee hee

Pooner or eunuch? Not obvious by appearance. :lit:

OK then. Pooner. 8)
But when you think about it, isn't a pooner really a sort of eunuch? :P

Slayyyy, I love the skirt!!! Looks really good!!!
Making me jealous of your flat chest man. You look so cool.
Flexing in a skirt is very Jojo! I love it!

Amnesty International has just published a report titled Like a Snowball about the spread of Gender Critical thought in the UK. Since it's a downloadable PDF rather than an article I'm bringing it up here rather than in A&N.

As it's 25 pages long in PDF form, I can't really think of an efficient way of sharing it here but if anyone has any idea, please do let me know (or better yet do it yourself! )

My thoughts on it: I've read or glanced at quite a few bullshit reports like this on this topic from various sources in recent years, and this one is not nearly as dishonest as is standard. As a result it is remarkable how much it fails at making the points it wants to make:

1) it keeps going on about an alliance between GC feminists and US Christian groups, but is completely unable to make it sound as sinister as it wants to.

1779378781204.png
This is all they have: "their clearly stated goals as similar".

2) They don't even try to make it sound like the GC movement is anything other than crowdfunded.

1779378998713.png
£3.6m for three organisations is... really not much, given that TRAs are constantly alleging that shadowy billionaires are pouring money over them.

3) their analysis of press coverage in the UK (which they blame GC success on) is long and baroque. Their analysis tools make no sense to me but then I'm not a specialist. However, it ultimately boils down to "the press doesn't write about these issues in the manner prescribed to them by TRAs and is therefore transphobic".
So all they come up with at the end is the usual stuff they have been parroting for a decade:

1779379319381.png

The first bit in particular:
Seek advice from trans-led organisations with communication and media
expertise to improve editorial guidelines.
Virtually the entire UK press and media has been there, done that, and recognised it was a disaster. There is no way back.

Like all TRAs, the Amnesty peeps who wrote this report simply cannot come to terms with a very simple truth: TRAs said "no debate", GCs said "fine, we don't really want to talk to you either, we'll just explain to people what you've been up to" and they converted lots of people to their point of view because it makes sense. Of course the endlessly abusive and unbalanced behaviour of trans activists has greatly helped.
