Transsexuals (as they were known) passed better back when people were less aware of their existence.
They never passed but they were simply too out of the radar of most normal people. When an already turbo gay hairdresser became even gayer by dressing as a woman one just shrugged it off, like "ok, whatever, i guess"

troon who is heavily involved with his local transgender community can hardly stand to remain in contact with them because, as he reports it, TERFs are right and the majority of trannies are rapists. Funny how behind closed doors, they willfully admit the number of foxes beating down the doors to the hen house - is it really any wonder, then, why Ms. Mace might not play nice?

I’m amazed at how saturated in Ls the comments are. Definitely will make a note to check those more often.

This one’s trying to bring up positives, but can’t help but weave in the inevitable negatives.

(Surprised they’d allow a seemingly invalidating comment like this to stay up) A grooming victim, because why not?

if I were you I'd stay in Australia.
Damn, if there’s a phrase that makes me think “RIP” to the person(s) it’s being directed at…that's it. F.

I always think that they're focus-testing a new "I'm so special and unique" label. It was the same thing a few days back with "enbyy" as a new gender-special label.
I think the they/thems don't like theyfab and theymab, because it reveals their sex. It's why there's also a current push by transwomen to call themselves just 'women' without any qualifiers or context. It's hardly surprising--these people openly admit to lying to medical professionals about their sex.

I partially agree, but there's definitely an improvement in the general ability to spot one.
Just from seeing more of them all the time, especially in media.
I also get the impression (in hindsight) the earlier ones tried harder to pass.

Edited to add:

And that. :)

If I recall correctly, when the respectable part of the medical establishment used to exercise more gatekeeping, one of the criteria was only accepting men they thought stood a chance of being able to believably pass as women on the other end of it. Because that was the goal and the justification for doing this deranged Frankensteinian shit. So if you screen for petite effeminate twinks with soft, feminine voices who are neurotically invested in mimicking women believably, you're going to get somewhat more polished results than if you just greenlight every Neanderthal in a skirt like we do now. But then again, there were also always less reputable avenues to get the drugs and surgeries, so there have been AGP gigahons chasing the transition dragon for as long as we've, as a society, been pretending that 'transitioning' is a real thing that actually does anything to turn a man into a woman.

It's sad she now looks like a member of Heaven's Gate, but she was never cute she was as plain fucking Jane as you get, she wasn't ugly but that's about it.
She was tiny and looked perpetually a bit child-like, but even before she announced she was now going to permanently pretend to be a dood, she was increasingly visibly mentally ill, with that kind of 'motheaten old taxidermy' look. But whatever was slowly consuming her then is just clearly devouring her alive now, adding the strain of full-time living a lie has only thrown gasoline on the smoldering coals.

You usually see it being used disparagingly by troons about women who completely follow feminine stereotypes but call themselves nonbinary. Like "ugh, those privileged fake trans theyfabs". It's pure jealousy.
There's some sort of hardcoded stereotypes, hobbies, and behaviors that never get changed and will never be changed, and trying to "break the status quo" only reinforces it.

being a woman in this century without accidentally flummoxing men on a daily basis is just soooo hard

Neighbor showing the sensible instinct to never turn your back on a threat and to not lead it back to your home, before being hit with the cold realization, and resignation, that the creepy neighborhood tranny who thinks he's 'cute' already knows where he lives.

YouTuber is a well to do Mexican who has a somewhat political travel vlog.
He's also an ex Jehovah's Witness activist, but he keeps that separate in this other channel.
The tranny in question requested him to post this.

I know that JW have a lot of their own problem but now it's not about that.

So I briefly watched this video and this story plays out basically in the same kinda scary and sad way that every trans story plays out:
-"All girls wear dresses, I don't like wearing a dress there for I'm actualy trans" (I'm autistic or just retarded)
-"I found other trans men online that understood me" (I got groomed online)
-"My family are evil and they hate me because they don't want me to be trans" (groomed into a cult)
-"In school I was 'allowed to be myself' while pretending at home" (school enabled her troon fantasy as always)
-"I'm just a normal dude who likes skating, robotics and hanging out with friends" (Ok, is there a divine commandment that says 'girls can't like robotics and skating' and liking it somehow makes you not a girl?)

So there's this website called Transmakeover and they offer a make-up and dress up day session with different outfits, props etc, and a photoshoot for troons and poons to explore their authentic gender journey.
The website promises to not use any face filters, relying on lighting and angles so those who pay for this package can enjoy viewing their true selves.
Naturally, the professional picture gallery is filled with golden Ls.

They all look like they've applied for a role in a British comedy TV series and those photos were taken for the resume (as crossdressing seems to be a very popular part of the comedy in those). Straight up something out of League Of Gentlemen. In fact, the 3rd TiM, the one sitting on a throne easily looks like Mark Gatiss.

The "man" in the second picture looks like Jim Moriarty from Sherlock (forgive me for mentioning that show).

Yes, especially with pooners (and they frequently whine about it.) ten years ago hardly anyone even knew “trans men” existed.
I had a casual trans male friend for over a decade without realizing. It wasn't until his wife referred to them as lesbians one time, that I figured it out. People in Pittsburgh are all built like bricks because of Italian and Polish intermingling.
