Seems like she’s leaving a pertinent part of the story (or her request) out. Sounds like mom tried to brush her off politely and she kept insisting. “Thanks but we bedshare, even if I wanted to take you up on it, it’s just not practical right now.” Something about tiny babies makes people super pushy in wanting to keep the baby overnight away from the mother. Between the fourth trimester and the grody pooner I can’t blame mom for blowing up, what kind of weirdo insists on playing house with their partner and your baby. I wonder if pooners partner is a gross tranny too.

I don’t want to look for it again, but a few years ago I saw a post on r/truscum making fun of tumblr trannies. One was a fanart of Majima with top surgery scars looking sad. Believe it or not, all the comments were pretty angry at Majima being made into a pooner.

As much as I hate troons I might give this pooner a pass simply because I've had some Uber drivers go off the rails a Black Dude once told me how he was in contact with the cops because he lost his wallet and he's afraid someone in his building found it and would find out he was a snitch and it could get him killed. Another one was discussing A.I. and this guy started talking about his fears of A.I. but he meant like Skynet shit and the end of the world and machines taking over. Then there was the guy who went on a Pro Putin Rank. So, with tensions so high given what happened to Kirk I could see a driver going off the rails.

forgive the powerlevel but you’re right- you can only begin to fathom the sheer amount of trans Goro Majima fanfiction on AO3

what’s more, the combination of the cabaret club backstory, his canon crossdressing incident and the fact that his lithe (relatively to the absolute unit status of most Yakuza characters) physique is seen as an achievable body goals by some pooners means that the ratio of MtF to FtM Majima content is pretty evenly split. The most notable one I’ve seen has him as a stealth pooner with a female drag persona- I’m sure the author of that one has a healthy relationship with the concept of womanhood.

Ok, I know that some Uber drivers have been rapey and molesty in the past, but maybe if you depend on gig economy workers for stuff, give them the leeway to express opinions on conversation and don't view them as the enemy. I've humored along a guy talking about his Bitcoin investments for like a half hour in traffic. Granted this topic is more extreme, and maybe this is my male privilege showing but running to Reddit to talk about being traumatized by service industry workers seems incredibly karenish and pathetic to me.

Yes, most women have probably had a creepy uber driver or five. But literally all this dude did was casually mention having a taser and it instantly sent the pooner into hysteria that he (and all uber drivers going forward for some reason?) was going to kill her.

It sucks to be trapped with/by a hard convo topic, tho. I totally get that... but
is it really hard to slide into the backseat and say you had a rough day + would like to ride in contemplative silence? Especially if the harmless driver is trying to talk heavy/uncomfortable topics with you as a stranger in a society?

Not even a dude, she mentioned that fortunately (for her own safety!), she got the driver to go back to talking about her grandkids. It was a literal granny. :story:
