This is probably one of those burgundy box dyes that costs like $8 and requires no bleaching. This color is mostly used by black women or middle schoolers trying to get around school dress code rules. Homeboy is either poor or lazy, but I'm betting on both.

I feel like that Haus of Decline comic where he explains how he's an empty incomplete shell (where he tweeted that trooning out was the answer to his problems) Is a good explanation of this. Can't find a link because phone posting right now, but I think this feeds into the broader them of why autism and trooning go hand in hand. One of the symptoms of autism (thought one that I am not convinced doesn't happen more broadly in the population, with us just identifying it in autism more readily) is alexithymia, which is difficulty with recognizing, identifying and expressing emotions. It's often called emotion blindness, but it's highly variable and seems closer to something like dyslexia for the symbolic coding and meaning of emotions, like people have trouble articulating to themselves what they are feeling and why, let alone others. Lacking this ability to narrated or conceptualize their sense of self, it feels like they latch on to external signifiers as a way to anchor their identity. Danger hair is one of the biggest changes you can make, and this probably links into things like face blindness too.

For the ones in their thirties, at least, I'd say there's a good chance that they're skinwalking or subconsciously echoing (men and women, respectively) what was considered hot in their teenage years: emos, scene/alt girls (maybe some goths), and Suicide Girls models.

Just one more unrealistic transition goal; they’ve seen so much anime they think blue hair is plausible and it won’t be a total nightmare that you’ll have to go to the salon every week or two to refresh to keep it looking good. These retards actually think the box dye from the supermarket will do as good a job as a salon dye - something most real girls have figured out by junior year in high school. (I pissed off a few girls by noting that the box dye kits never look as good as you hope.)

If you want to know why the trannies don’t shower enough this is part of it: washing your hair strips out some of the dye color each time you wash. Not a big deal if you’re within a shade or two of your natural, but when you double processed your hair from brown to pink, every wash strips out the color and gets you back towards those pastel dishwater colors you see on way too many trannies (I think all of them have at least tried double processed animu colors at least once and failed to care for it so it ended up like that.)

Furthermore the chemicals used in double process dye jobs weaken/disrupts your hair cuticle and impairs its ability to hold the dye color. If you bleach a cloth and then try to dye it you’ll see the same thing: bleach-damaged fibers hold dye way worse than unbleached ones. That makes double processed hair more fragile than single processed.

Late and autistic, but I found this interesting: wrestling "Jell-O" isn't Jell-O, unless the event organizer is rich and really bad at research.

It's sodium polyacrylate powder and food dye (archive); there'd be no way to set so much actual gelatin in a warm pool out in the middle of a field, and anyone who has/was a kid can tell you about how much the dye in legit Jell-O will stain skin and countertops.
