As someone who’s been a licensed amateur radio operator for twenty years, I can tell the only time women are interested in ham radio is when their husband dies and they sell their equipment on Facebook marketplace.

God, I love Nancy Mace. Say what you will about whatever the hell else she gets up to, but with this issue alone she's got my full support. They also do this through social intimidation and the threat of social ostracism. But Nancy Mace has a security guard, and she's as republican as they come. Her fellow republicans, and her constituents, won't give a shit how many slurs she uses. She's functionally bullet-proof.

I've never, ever encountered a woman into HAM radio, and only one woman into model trains—she inherited them from her grandpa, her husband got interested in them, and together they filled their living and dining room with miniature landscapes for the trains to run through. She was really into designing layouts and building all the miniatures and landforms, and I suspect would have been just as happy to do it without involving trains at all; her husband was the actual train sperg.

Yeah, a lot of women do pick up traditionally "masculine" interests (especially DIY home improvement stuff), but there are some hobbies they never even think about, much less venture into, even though there's nothing stopping them from doing so. When a troon has those kinds of hobbies, yet claims he's always had the ladybrains? Nah.
