somehow there's this idea around that a) trans men can go stealth easier or more often and b) if they don't pass they're "just" seen as butch lesbians or tomboys which "isn't as bad" as someone thinking a trans woman is a femboy
I dont even know where this came from but too many cis queer ppl I know have said something along those lines, and it feels even more alienating when trans women regurgitate it?
I don't know, maybe it's that for me the effects that estrogen does to my body against my will are every day more and more palpable, like, do people really think it is a less effective or powerful hormone than t??? is it because of the voice or is it due to something else????
am I losing my mind. like genuinely am I tripping. im seen at BEST as a tomboy and no? being a tomboy isn't "more acceptable by society"???? where did this idea even came from???? it always makes me think of that one "the butchest a woman can be on Twitter before everyone loses it" meme.
like people saying "women (the wording is already icky for me) are allowed to be weird and fuck around with their genders!!!" like newsflash!!!! I'm not a woman! im perceived and treated as one so I understand the complexities of growing up as one and where has this magical "women being masc isn't as persecuted as men being fem" what level of internet brainrot is this???
long hair makes me want to rip it apart, painting my nails always ends up on me biting them out of my fingers, dresses make me feel extremely distressed and I've been abused physically and mentally for not being feminine enough. where is this apparently magical "masc privilege" where people """understand"""" that I wanna be a man and accept it????? especially since ive seen how in mtf circles this argument is used to separate us from our sisters??? like has anyone ever questioned any of this rethoric????? I don’t know how administrations expect children to hold it together and act like it’s normal to have a tranny as a teacher. Trust and vulnerability is everything to a kid. By obfuscating your gender and coming to school everyday, demanding you be called “Mr. _____”, you have broken the trust of every student by denying your biological reality, and disrespecting theirs by holding them to the unspoken expectation that they play along to a lie.

Even dropping off she's a pooner, she is terrible as a junior high teacher. The first requirement for being a junior high teacher is knowing how to handle students making fun of you, figuring out what shit to take, what shit to admire, and what shit to bring the hammer down on. I remember a Mexican-American gym teacher who got called a spic by one of my fellow students. He didn't change his expression at all, just said, "Give me a lap," and made the guy run 400 meters. The kid made another joke about the teacher's race, and the teacher laughed honestly at the joke, then said, "Great joke. Give me another lap." In this case it worked out. The teacher didn't lose our respect, and the kid was taught not to say that word (in front of this teacher). And another teacher more or less constantly had students make fun of his name, and he just rolled his eyes or made droll comments in response.
This pooner teacher handled this the worst way possible. She should have either not responded at all, or proved that she's not autistic by having a sense of humor about it, or some other creative response. She absolutely positively should not have gone whining to the principal, and had him removed from class.
TL;dr, junior high kids are brutal, and she's way too fragile and narcissistic to be anywhere near them.

I posted that link because the parents mention that if the teacher were a male, they would've taken the situation seriously. Instead, it was a woman, so the mother was brushed off with some admin saying, "Ms. Whatever likes helping students explore their sexuality." I consider that a failing on everybody, not just men and not just women.

It shouldn't be about "if the teacher was male" because the enitre thing is totally insane on its face and should never have happened and woudlnt happen elsewhere. There seems to be something entirely rotten in that county specifically (and from what I glean from news, Colorado more generally.. )
-Letting insane people set any level of marker for what is or isn't appropriate or trying to move to where they are or meet them withing their rules is a losing strategy from the off.
It is not wild to state that men tend to sexually abuse more than women.
Women are abusive but they tend to do it in different ways. I'd say the apparent uptick in sexually abusive women coudl have something to do with the BPDification of society more generally but that's a rather larger, not totally relevant topic.
All of it, including the troons, is probably the end result of what happens when everybody including children, is suddenly able to avail themsleves of hardcore porn anywhere any time free, and we are looking at the results. In the troon outs, in the woman rapes.
I don't think the entirety of society quite realises it yet, but it's my pet theory, if things needed to be simplified right down.

Again, my focal point is that any framing of people with access to children as requiring less oversight due to the a perceived mismatch in predatory behavior is bad policy. We know that people with sexual proclivities toward children will do a LOT to gain access. Yes, it shouldn't be different if the teacher was male, but the parents sure seem to think it would've been.
No offense, but the replies to me ITT make me think it would've treated differently with a male teacher, too. I am not asking for less scrutiny on men or countering with "women are just as bad!" I'm saying there appears to be a serious disparity in the scrutiny applied, especially with how we treat the teachers who've harmed their students. I'm sure these schools are garbage across the board, though, because perverts are running them.
