This is an even more interesting case because here you can't even go by chromosomes, but often by genitalia. For chromosome affectionardos it's veeery close to true intersex, if you also have the mangled genital variety. The law is probably done this way to neither stop voluntary butchery on these people, but neither box in those who dont't get anything done.

The real issue that trannies want to muddy here is the difference between being intersex and trans. Intersex people have a genetic disorder that can result in infertility and health problems. Trans people followed a normal course of sexual development in utero, they're just unhappy with the sex that they always were, from the moment of conception.

intersex activism is mostly concerned with hasty doctors "correcting" intersex infants surgically in ways that leave them with even less sexual function as adults. Troons force-teaming intersex people to stand in solidarity w TRA bullshit is insulting to intersex people the way it was insulting to Cherokee when Elizabeth Warren claimed to be one.

I often wonder if parents of kids that troon out ever remember the life their son/daughter had before becoming their daughter/son. Many years just wiped away.

Yes imo it’s the most painful part of having a kid troon out. They expect their parents to pretend that they pass (especially if they don’t) and to memory hole their child’s entire childhood, no baby pictures or 1st day of kindy photos allowed. can I ‘imagine as a woman watching my breasts leave’? This is phrased so poorly… and it’s not something actual women have ever worried about. The way this troon talks about it, you’d think breasts could become dissatisfied, jump off your chest and roll away.

Mostly my reaction is that this is good, and if troons don’t want to deal with going to male prison they should avoid committing crimes.

I felt a little bad too for a split second, until I remembered women have to endure changing their cloths when he is in the same room with them and be around when he changed. I bet that it was secretly being passed around the women using the gym that there is a troon using the women's locker/changing room so watch out, and that many women changed very hastily looking at the door every time to see that the troon is not coming in, waited until he left when he was in the changing room while pretending to play with their phone or something, changed in the bathroom stalls or changed where they came from and didn't change leaving.

The handful of times I saw a troon (always the same one) in the women’s locker circa 2019 at my gym I was on notice, like there was an asp in the locker room. I was probably staring tbh, and thankfully that skinny fucker changed into his lululemons in a private changing stall. If he tried to change in front of us or use the steam room i’dve blessed him with an Ecce Homo. Even so it was uncomfortable for everyone just having him there and I wish he’d have used the unisex bathroom on the first floor.

VA direct patient care job offers are being rescinded, meanwhile they send in a suit who's drawing a salary to do a lookie-loo when it'd be quick and easy to email local management and tell them what posters to take down. Per that same NYT article, MtFs serve federal time at a far higher frequency than cis men or cis women and so they're vastly overrepresented in the prison rolls. Less than 1% of the US population is transgender, but apparently 7.5% of the BOP pop is troons who want bras, makeup, women's hair regulations, estrogen, and amhole surgeries while they serve time for molesting children or murdering their GFs or whatever they did.

NYT handwaves this away with "muh oppression" and the idea that cops are more uh, interested in selectively enforcing the law on troons. I think that's bollocks. Troon bollocks.

ok for fairness' sake I can't math well teehee, math is hard, let's look at this word problem one more time:

There are about 1,500 federal prisoners who are transgender women, according to the Bureau of Prisons. There are 750 transgender men out of about 144,000 male prisoners.

15% of the all the women in prison are troons; which the word problem tells us is 1,500 troons
and of 144,000 male prisoners, 750 are pooners.
If 15% of "female" prisoners are troons and they number 1,500, then its:
(0.15x)=1500
then x= ~10,000 (total number of "women" prisoners)
less 1500 because they are troons
so, troon+poon = 2250 persons
cis men + cis women = 8,500 women + 143,250 men
Trans ratio in BOP pop is 2250:143,250
which simplifies to 1:63and 2/3rds
so one of every 64-ish federal inmates is a troon or a poon, this is about 1.5% of all BOP inmates that are trans. And of that, troons outnumber poons 2:1 and cis men vastly outnumber cis women (~143,250:8500 or ~17:1)

Something very similar happened in the UK from ~1990s where a strangely high number of inmates started converting to Judaism and Islam, or otherwise becoming vegan. The reason for this was because the prison food was shit, but people with halal/kosher/vegan dietary requirements would get food delivered by an external catering company that cost more and was nicer. Over 10% of inmates at HMP Edinburgh declared themselves to be Jewish at one point, despite only making up 0.1% of the population of Scotland and 0.5% of the population of England.

I wonder if a similar "perverse incentive" may apply here... but that line of questioning is transphobic, so instead we have to surmise that trans people offend at a much higher rate. Although functionally I don't know that there's a difference between "I'm going to say I'm trans for perks" and "I'm sexually aroused at being perceived as a woman". Meanwhile about 0.3% of the UK's prison population is trans, because we don't really house transgender women in female prisons. There were 5 trans women housed in a women's prison in 2023, but they were housed in the transgender unit at HMP Downview (separate from the general population) and the requirement is that they've had an amhole installed and they're not sex offenders... shockingly this means the new transgender unit is largely empty, because there's no incentive to go there.

Seeing it from the angle, that intersex people were "corrected" cosmetically in service of rectifying and enforcing the binary gender system - something trannys love. Some intersex people seem to not be cool with that, but trannys don't care anyhow, they just wanted to get these surgeries - and they got them. It's almost a kind of myth that intersex people are treated for health problems, they're basically transed into one gender phenotype or another, for conformity. That's where trannies came in and said "I want a designer cochie, too!" One man's abusive horror butchery is another man's boon. I watched a documentary on that years ago, and the "woman" had basically all the same identity issues trannys have, because people just don't let them be. And they, the doctors, basically offered her going either way. Twisted my stomach, not sure I can find that one easily, was on TV. Again, they don't fix the conditions, they just trans them to be more palatable - and they even go against genetics: back in the day, with boys, they basically gave them all neo vaginas, because it was just technically easier than fixing up the genetials or - gasp - just leaving them as it. It's all non-functional, same a with troons. Safe the exo-hormones for bone density and all that - but then, maybe not neutering these people for nebulous citations of cancer risks, to then feed them cancerous exohormones anyway, would be the wiser move... I mean, I'm also throwing them all together now, there's probably some really wild, mangled, brith defect grade genitals which MUST be fixed in some way for actual health reasons, but the short overview I've got on the issue, basically shows that they just hacking away for conformity. John Money's experiment on David Reimer was not notable because he treated a botched circumcision by creating a neovagina... it was notable because it was a twin study. A lot of boys who had botched circumcisions that destroyed their penis had that done to them; John Money's theory was you could make them conform by being heterosexual women if you did surgery, brainwashed them young enough (and sexually abused them) and pumped them full of hormones. The root of transgender understanding is imo Prussians recognising that intersex people exist and then theorising that trans people have a mental intersex condition, which was basically Magnus Hirschfield's rationale which directly fed into Harry Benjamin's rationale (who'd worked closely with Hirschield) who founded what would later become WPATH.

I found out a few nights ago, the man I called my father (Who has been very supportive of me over the last year, and his many transfem friends, who he collects in a way I always thought was super creepy for a supposedly straight cis-gender man, and a man who abused me as a child to try and shock/beat the femininity out of me) voted for Trump. Things quickly descended into chaos as he refused to answer one single question "Did you know he was running on a campaign to take away lgbtqai+ rights, before you voted for him?" He got angry, and I got scared, we both lashed out and in the end he finally said. "Yes! I knew I was voting to take your rights away! I did it because it's what I believe is best for the country!"

So in other words. He faked being pro-trans to all of our faces, then knowingly voted to take away our rights and was a secret raging bigot the whole time. It's such two-faced, such disgusting, deceitful, snake-like behavior, that I'm honestly in total shell-shock. I kicked him out of my life and I've barely spoken to anyone since. I'm almost catatonic.
