All Trump has said is that he's banning puberty blockers and HRT to minors, I've yet to see any evidence he's fully banning hormones for adults. Might happen if Project 2025 is implemented.

This was literally the first one I found when browsing the subreddit while on the bog. They're a dime a dozen on there right now. Great laugh.

I'm not a trump supporter. I'm not happy with the election results. But I also have the cognitive abilities of a five year old and can realize someone being put in office doesn't mean we're going to become cavemen and burn all troons at the stake. If these people genuinely think they could get the death penalty for being transgender, they are not in a fit state of mind to even be making life altering choices like that. It's insane.

There's also an element of them using suicide threats for attention. If other trans people are saying they're going to kill themselves because Trump wins, they- who-rely-on-seeming-mentally-fragile will also want to make a show of saying they're going to kill themselves.

This. They never really intend to commit suicide, they're just used to weaponizing threats of suicide as a form of emotional blackmail they use to get what they want. I also get the impression that they're trying to convince people (including other trans people, especially the younger ones) that it is perfectly normal and practically expected to be suicidal when you're trans because being trans means dealing with infinite, unbearable oppression. They think that the fact they're all (supposedly) suicidal clearly proves they're truly suffering under an unimaginable oppression, but all it actually proves is that they're just mentally unwell (to put it really mildly).

I am not surprised, because I have been reading a lot of their posts and a lot of their comments on YouTube and other social media in the past couple of years or so, and I have seen firsthand how much fearmongering they spread among themselves about how prosecuted they are and how much people want to harm them. They literally - no joke, no trolling, no exaggeration - they literally, truly believe there is a trans genocide going on, that they are prosecuted, that they are under constant threat of violence, and that their basic human rights are being taken away.

The constant fear-mongering reminds of the standard tactic used by cults as shown in the BITE model.
