These people find the very idea of an acolyte of the cult potentially finding happiness reprehensible, as it shakes the foundation of their own beliefs and calls into question their own decisions.

It's preferable that this girl ignore her biological callings and instead mutilate herself and irreparably change the trajectory of her life, rather than simply experiment with young men who she's attracted to and find out that she's just a normal teenager after all.

A while back my pharmacist saw my deadname on my profile and accidentially called it out, he corrected and deleted my deadname from the system so only my preferred name shows up now. I would love to hear an explanation of how reading Harry Potter affects their wellbeing. Unless Jo Rowling is subsidising a troon death squad with the profits, she is doing nothing that directly affects trans women. They can have the public rape crisis centre, women can use Jo’s. I get why this hysterical rhetoric is used on the rest of us, but it seems they really believe it. How exhausting and stupid a way to live. Chalk that up as another L.

It's very telling that most "politically active" troons are ex-potterheads. They obsess and make a personality out of one thing before it becomes cool to go against the grain on the one thing that defined your childhood. You know who empowered Rowling?
