I have decided to confront my boss about my anti-trans workplace! Wish me luck.

Hey lovelies! I have been posting recently about my trouble with my transphobic workplace and I have decided to put a stop to it.

I recently started a new job and it is the most transphobic, homophobic, racist environment I have ever seen. I also noticed that the person before me didn’t last very long and honestly most straight people would find the environment toxic to just be around.

It’s obvious that this workplace is dangerous. If I just quit without saying something then it stays a dangerous work place. If I complain then the work place will have to change whether I stay or quit.

I also witnessed with my own two eyes a woman from another office in the same company sexually harassed while she was trying to get her leave form filled out by a manager…. At least the 50s had Jon Hamm or whatever…

So I’m going to loop my boss in with the recruiter on Monday and tell them everything ha ha

I Did it! I made complained about my anti-trans work place. The entire company is having an emergency all hands meeting!

I was tired of hearing anti-trans screeds from my fellow employees after only working at a new job for a couple of days I realised I couldn’t possibly work there I was scared as hell, I was just going to leave but I decided to say something anyway.
The thing that I emphasised most was liability. I did not come out to them, I just said “you don’t know who I am, you don’t know who anyone is and you don’t have a right to know, but everyone has a right to feel comfortable in their work place”.
I figured if they didn’t care enough about us, maybe they will care a little about their back pocket. Seems to have done the trick!
I told my manager that it is just like any other safety issue, if an incident happened and it came down to liability they are going to ask about the company culture and that would fall in his lap.
I think that is what motivated him because after obviously ignoring the problem for as long as he had, he finally saw how he could be made responsible for it all ha ha, his’ immediate reaction was to alleviate his potential liability by immediately reporting the issue ha ha. If it works it works.
I’m glad I did what I did, I probably won’t stay at my workplace but I’m glad something was said before I left.

I’m glad I did what I did, there is no way I could work there, I was way too scared to be around those people but I’m still sad. I don’t know how I’m going to find a job now, the industry I was in is openly hostile to my existence..

I'm having a medical abortion at home next week and I'm terrified. I don't have anyone to talk to.
I found out I was pregnant yesterday, it was a huge shock since I didn't think it was possible. I'm 4 weeks pregnant now. I'm about 10 years into my transition, I was on t for about 3 years but I haven't had any since covid. Virtually none of my current friends or colleagues know that I'm trans, and even fewer know that I'm gay.

I'm really scared of what will happen, if it'll work and how long it will take to stop bleeding. I don't have anyone I can talk to in person, I feel terrible.

Does anyone have experiences or advice to share please. I wish I could talk through this with someone but I'm so ashamed that it's happened.
