I just filled out a pre surgical medical form. They asked for “sex” and said “please put your assigned sex at birth”. There were no other options.

I am a woman. I have a vagina. My birth certificate says I’m female. In most cases, my assigned sex at birth is not at all relevant to the issue, which in this case is “breast augmentation”.

So I did the only reasonable thing. I put “female”. Fuck their stupid form. I’ll be goddamned if I’m putting down that I’m “male” on a medical form ever again.

There's very good medical reasons that they need to know the real sex of a person undergoing surgery.
The Anesthesia dose for men is going to be different than for a woman, for example, and that's just one thing.

It’s not about acceptance ultimately, but control and maintaining victimhood. They don’t want normalcy, they want constant problems and drama to grift off of and complain about. I stopped browsing/ftm awhile ago because it was all young abused girls who hated puberty. But I'm noticing a lot of that in /mtf now too. The general age of the people posting seems to be getting lower

Treat them the same way they do with any other body dysmorphia.

We don't tell anorexics that their weight loss is so brave. It's still generally frowned upon (for now) to cut off the limbs of someone who thinks they should have been born with one leg.

Work with them to come to terms with the fact that they can never be the opposite sex. It’s cruel to pretend that they can change sex and crueller still to mutilate their bodies in pursuit of an impossible goal.

Anti-Depressants, limit internet time, block social media sites, and letting teenagers live their life until 25 and then check back on them.

Adding to the other Farmers whom I agree with, I'd say also education about how gender roles are bullshit and it's fine if you want to be a man named Sally who wears heels and makeup, but you're still a man. Idk if other Farmers are on board with that, y'all can be a more conservative bunch than I, but seriously how much easier would it be if that was how Troons handled shit?
