These people complain about the lack of good trans representation, without realising that their attitude and reputation is the exact cause of it.

I wouldn't be surprised if game companies are terrified at the prospect of designing trans characters, because doing so is akin to stepping into a minefield. If the character passes too well, it'll be accused of being a token trans character that you just have to believe is trans because the devs said they are. If it doesn't pass enough, it'll be accused of being a harmful stereotype. If the character can be killed/defeated, that's contributing to trans genocide. If you relegate them to a minor NPC role wherein they can't be killed/defeated, that's trans erasure.

The so-called trans community is so notoriously inconsistent, contradictory and difficult to appease that putting a trans character in your game is effectively the same as just throwing up your hands and saying 'please cancel/boycott us'. There will always be a vocal subset of the community that hates whatever trans character you create. As has been established many times, there is just no winning with trannies- even not playing isn't a winning move anymore, because in current year not waving the flag in your game is bigotry. And even when you do wave the flag, people still find cause to complain about it.

So happy pride month trannies- enjoy this vapid, tokenistic acknowledgement of your existence that is born not out of love or reverence, but entirely out of totalitarian fear of you. How proud you must be.

Difficult to appease because they aren't really a community, just a group of crazy people who are all over the place (except for being used as human shields by certain ruling class interests).

And yes these are all just mentally ill people who's beliefs about gender/sexuality/whatever else differ not only from person-to-person, but from one hour to the next. This is why tranny representation is an impossibility, a fool's errand- I don't even think trannies are aware of just how much of a Sisyphean task representing trannies in media is. Despite them being treated like a cohesive and coherent community with set beliefs and tenets, you'd probably find at least a comparable amount of intellectual and ideological consistency from rounding up all the homeless drug-addled bedlamites in San Francisco and putting them in a room together.

I feel like a big chunk of this is advocacy via social media too. Saying good job on the trans furball attracts much fewer eyeballs than something to feel righteously indignant about. I'm firmly of the belief that a lot of social media posting is basically Pavlovian, the people doing it don't recognize the actual reward they are getting from it (the immediate surge of adrenaline and neurotransmitters that woke rage provides, as well as the narc supply of likes and retweets) and so can't recognize the pattern where they look for reasons to be angry first and foremost.

I've herd of that story. To be honest with how much pandering riot has done I'm surprised they haven't yet. I will say to everyone here who knows anything about League Of Legends and the esports scene that Riot game's pandering to the LGBT is obviously all talk because the company is actively partnering with the Saudi government, and thereby endangering gay people who might be visiting there to compete for a league tournament.

I'm a little over 2.5 years on T now, consistently pass and am stealth except for people who knew me pre-t. Yesterday I was hanging out with my friend at the cafe he works at, waiting for him to finish closing. He said my name at some point and his coworker was like "that's such a cool name, it's one of my friend's too." My name is Callum, since I have an Irish last name. She paused for a few seconds and I thought that'd be the end of it, I've gotten compliments on my name before and am used to it. But then she said "I'm not assuming you're trans or anything but its a common name for trans men from what I've seen."

Tbh I thought about this for the rest of the night when me and my friend were at a party. He was like "keep your head up, she's a 30 y/o polyamorous woman so she just knows too much" but I thought I'd be clear from getting clocked. I also haven't seen anything about this being a common trans name?? I know cis men with uncommon names like Corbin, Carrie. Literally earlier that day I was thinking if my name was too weird and if I should change it even though I recently got it legally changed, even though I've felt fine about it before. I worry I made the mistake of picking some dumb name that is too weird in the US :(

It’s just more polite than saying ”you’re five foot and look like an ancient fertility idol”. On the bright side, she now has something else to ruminate over obsessively.

Hi, im 18mtf and i have recently been seeing this guy 18m and basically the tea is i found his twitter, and his twitter is full of porn but also a lot of trans porn. I haven't gone through all the porn account he follows (its 700+) but i would say a quater of it is trans women and he has expressed his interest in it.

I have decided to let it go since i do really like him and its only a quater of his following but ever since we've ben talking ive noticed hes been following, liking, etc more trans porn...

I know its strange but i genuinely like him so much but i'm also weirded out because i have a gut feeling he just wants to try it out since he claims hes never been with a trans woman which is no surprise theres not many in our area.

Never understood this (but I don't understand anything about trannies). Wouldn't it be a good thing that your boyfriend has a tranny fetish? Why do trannies go on and on about how much they hate chasers when it's probably the closest they'll get to someone liking their disgusting bodies?

Trannies are like the only group I can think of that absolutely despise it when people like them for who they are, and only wish to be liked for what they’re not. They all depend on starting a relationship based on lies and wonder why they all end up T4T.
