It went completely bad. She was completely cold/ calm. She just said you were born a man and are a man and be a man. U have a baby and a family and u cannot do anything u want that will affect the social standing of thr family.

She then asked who was mind washing me and where rhis came from . Whatever i said didnt matter to her. She compared me to a crossdresser from some stupid asian movie and then said it was overwhelming for her and took a nap.After that , she woke up and acted like nothing happened and said no more therapy and that i cant go out alone anymore.She was asking me to show her our email exchanges and i said no.I even showed her the trevor project coming out handbook. She barely glanced at it for less than a minute. I dont know what to do , i spoke the thing that made me feel the most vulnerable my entire life and she just scoffed as if it was nothing.

It's so strange how dependent this one is on his therapy, therapist probably pushed him to troon out, so now it's an easy source of UwU validation for him. He has the option to discuss it with his wife (who is not having it, god bless her) but instead goes behind her back to get ''therapy''. Actually treating it like a drug addiction or affaire lmfao.

The way therapy is shilled nowadays is so bonechilling too. I know betterhelp is a scam but it's such a prime example of how weird the general outlook is on therapy in current year. Few things are more dystopian to me than an online content creator interrupting their content to say they ''have it rough sometimes" in their several million dollar mansion and using that to shill an online therapy service (which is also a scam!). Therapy is supposed to get you to introspect and work through deep-seated personal issues with someone who asks hard questions but still wants to help. They can't do much more for you, only you can actually make the improvements you need to make. That is a niche service by definition. Seeing everyone and their mom in therapy is either a sign that the Unabomber was right or that something weird is going on with that industry. Especially when so often I see it shilled as an easy cure-all for any mental hardships.

I can rant for days about how dark I think therapy in current year is but I'll leave it at that. A thread on it would be interesting, if it doesn't already exist.

There should be. But it's pretty easy to summarize. Before all the biotech SSRIs, you (or your family, ahem) were responsible for your own mental health. Getting your head shrunk was a spritual mentor/student sort of exchange. Applied magic, really, with symbols, rituals, and the slow changing of consciousness by natural means via a human relationship. With SSRIs it became quickie chemical engineering. Magic pills to correct something beyond your control that was not your fault. Or responsibility. Or the product of your choices, your behavior. And now it's gone even further to be quickie mechanical engineering. Got dysphoria? Or the desire to be someone else instead of owning your life and reconciling with its limits? Just remove and add new body parts. Meat lego gnosticism.

Therapy, like everything else, has been disenchanted and dehumanized from our technological advances. And there's faith that it is infallible, and will yield even more benefits for humanity in the future if we just keep slogging forward and ignore the externalities. Certain people and institutions do benefit. Quite a bit. They get status or money. Power. The rest of us, and some people in particular (the afflicted and their families) not so much.

To bring this back on topic more, the infiltration of therapy-speak into regular conversations is absolutely essential to the trans movement being able to badger its way into everywhere and anywhere. The crowd chanting about destigmatizing mental health and therapy has only led to a society that revolves around its outliers.

A majority have given verbiage to describe and legitimize hurt feelings that are ridiculous under any other interpretation. The ingrained corporate work culture of adopting whatever current buzzword is flying around has made the average person accept new psychobabble with barely a blink. And this entire emotion-based setup is what enables a troon to manipulate others, cry transphobia, and still not get laughed out of the room.

I'm of the opinion that most people are too stupid to make decisions for themselves. However, in this case these idiots removing themselves from the gene pool is a good thing. Yet I keep seeing examples over and over again where what people say and believe only makes sense if they don't view the world as having an objective reality.

I think if the world as having an objective reality and a narrative reality. Objective reality is something like, men being stronger than women. Narrative reality is the story about why that is. She's got it in her head that society conditioned men to be that way. It might sound stupid, but a lot of our dominant cultural narrative is wrong about a lot of things. Capitalism, patriarchy, institutional racism, and such are all just stories that people tell each other, these things aren't real, you can't see them, they exist only as a narrative or a story, yet increasingly our society spends more and more time and money on these concepts that aren't actually real and can't be proven. A lot of people mistake them for reality but they aren't real.

There is a thread for bad therapists, but a thread on therapy industry would be great. I see a lot of assumptions online that people with mental health issues aren't in therapy or seeing a professional, when a lot of times they ARE and the therapist and therapy industry is where the problem is coming from! See: all trans tards, DID tards, autism fakers, and more.
Even in these threads I see people say that somebody needs therapy when the therapists are the ones causing these issues. Where is a kid who thinks they have "gender dysphoria" supposed to go? The therapist is just going to encourage hormones and mutilation. The whole industry is a huge scam and actively harming society at this point.
