A "both sides" documentary that just lets the troons say their piece, even giving them the last word, would functionally be more effective "anti" propaganda than an obvious anti troon hit piece.

I met a new acquaintance recently (male) who is very supportive of my transition so we started chatting. It turns out they are attracted to me, but I was upfront about my preferences being mostly non guys. They told me they respect that fully but that they are still attracted to me. I didn't really know what to do or say about that so I figured we could just continue to be chat as long as that's respected. But this person seems to be making themselves very available to me and messaging me a lot, and gives me lots of compliments and sometimes tells me they're thinking about me or w.e

I feel a bit weird about it. On the one hand, that's on them. But on the other hand, I don't know if I need someone I just met feeling that way about me if I'm just trying to be friends. I wish they hadn't told me they're attracted to me after I told them I was mostly sapphic, it was already obvious but now I just sort of feel like they're annoying lol

How do girls actually navigate a situation like this usually? Is it common to keep guy friends that are attracted to u or crushing on u? I feel sort of weird cutting them off too for it. Like is it such a sin they find me hot. Almost feels a bit conceited.

What would u do?

These stupid masturbators are incapable of independent thought. Someone said “Don’t talk to the media,” so now that’s their default position. Even if it makes no sense. I get this mental image of a bunch of autistic troons sobbing in frustration because they can’t figure out how the normies are finding out about their perversions.

Good thing there are plenty of sources where the media can find troons talking unguarded.

Even if it was something relatively minor such as playfully slapping his ass, he has a legit complaint.

Troon claims he was assaulted but won’t say what happened, isn’t allowed to work at that school, student wasn’t punished, and school says it’s his fault? Sounds like he freaked out over either the ‘misgendering’ or kids being either based or just assholes like kids are. Troon probably said or did things that were inappropriate but not enough to take legal action against him. The school will just find a different sub agency or tell the agency behind the scenes that troon is no longer permitted at their campus. Schools don’t have the budget to fight legal ma’amtrums against troons when they’re not real staff or students, easier to just quietly make the problem go away. Based school for siding with the kid against the troon, tho.

If you don't need dysphoria to be trans, then is being trans a choice?

Before anything else I want to state that yes, this is throwaway account because I don't want to be harassed. I also want to say that I'm not looking for an argument or debate, but rather a respectful discussion. I'm posting on this sub for two main reasons; I'm a trans man and this is a trans male space, and this sub tends to be neutral when it comes to trans politics.

I am what many may call a "transmed" or "truscum". Although I don't care for being labelled as such due to negative connotations. I do believe being trans is inherently medical (a condition you're born with) and requires at least some level of physical gender dysphoria. I don't believe social dysphoria is enough on it's own. If a stranger misgenders me, I'm not dysphoric because I was called she/her, I'm dysphoric because in order for that stranger to perceive me as a woman they saw my incorrect female sex characteristics. It'd be silly to be completely female-presenting and expect people, let alone strangers, to perceive me as male.

If you are dysphoric, you'd want some level of medical transition to alleviate your dysphoria. (I am not saying that you need to medically transition, but rather you should at least want to medically transition to some degree). If you're not dysphoric, how are you trans? To my understanding, if you lack dysphoria, then you're choosing to be trans. It's a choice for you. And if being trans is a personal choice, why should we have any legal or medical support? Why should the government allow us to update our documents or protect us for discrimination? Why should we be allowed to use the correct restrooms/changing rooms? Why should insurance companies cover our medical transition?

I'd like to understand the other side of this. Are there any non-dysphoric trans men here? What are you thoughts and feelings on the subject? I'm only 19, so I'm not going to pretend I know everything. I'd never police someone's identity or argue with whether they're actually trans or not, I tend to mind my own business. I'm just sharing my personal thoughts.
