If I've got my science right, our "base" model is, essentially, female, with the embryo/fetus/whatever stage it's at becoming virilized by the testosterone at the point where it switches on. Later, there's much more room for the XX model human body to respond to T than for the XY body to respond to E. The XY grow boobs from pre-existing tissue present in both sexes, but (dick stunting in pre-teens aside) that's the greatest physical change. The XX change is far more pronounced, from head to toe: hair loss, hair growth, muscle growth, voice change, and "bottom growth".

To be totally honest, when I look at this person's face alone, it's very hard to sketch out a female. Definitely the hand in the second pic, maybe the mouth in the first pic. Something about the way they're sitting, plus the hand, in the third pic. This is either a) a lying man, or b) an exceptionally horsey but not unattractive woman whose body had a pronounced response to T. Also we have no idea how tall this person is.

I'm overthinking this but again, to be honest, based on these photos alone I'd absolutely lose my shit to discover this person had no dick. In order to shore up my own sanity/be able to trust my own judgment in the face of future opposite-sex adventures, I've had to entertain this rumination on the far more dramatic impact of male hormones on female bodies, than vice versa.

TW: Transphobia.

Sorry just venting.

So, me and my partner met a couple of years back and they identified as FTM. I have recently come as a MTF (I had done before but my life wasn't right at that time).

We had a baby late last year and since then they have questioned they're transition and have come out as detrans. Which obviously doesn't bother me as I am in love with them.

But since this detransition they've started saying some really TERF-y stuff. Like tonight we had a discussion where they just randomly said that they don't believe trans women are women (essentially) whilst I can agree the experiences of trans women and cis women is different in aspects, to claim that trans women aren't women is wild to me.

They also agree that everyone should have a safe space even if they're transphobic or homophobic and they also want to argue about how the detrans community isn't riddled in transphobia "because not all detrans people are."

But yeah, I'm unsure how to move forward because obviously I'm going to further socially and medically transition and they're transphobia might become stronger.

I can't really leave because they have some medical issues after the birth and can't look after our baby alone and we have no family support. It also means me being homeless as I've not got any money and haven't had the chance to get a job because I've practically become a full time carer for them. When I try and call them out on it, I get the usually "you're just a snowflake." Or I'm childish or I've not transitioned yet so that invalidates my feelings and experience. They also say stuff like not everyone who disagrees with you is a TERF or hateful and I'm like I know but people who say TERF-Y things may be.

I've been left wing since I was 18 (when I educated myself on politics) before that I didn't really understand it so didn't get involved. But yeah I think I'm just going to be stuck in a relationship with a transphobe and that scares me and if we eventually break up they may use my transition as a weapon to stop me seeing my child.

But yeah, I don't understand why detransition has made them suddenly just become TERF-y but yeah...

A couple of carefully staged selfies taken from a single angle rarely tell much about how they "pass" IRL,after all they don't really show how tall she is,whether she has a frog/helium voice,her hip/shoulder-ratio,hand and feet size etc.

Passing basically means that you can hold a 5 minute face-to-face conversation IRL with someone without having any good reason to suspect that they're trans,and very few trannies would succeed in doing that.

That's a particularly tough one to decipher grammatically. Which they? Who they? She/her they? Or ambiguous other people they? Not that it matters. His GF has been redpilled by r/detrans and by her pregnancy and childbirth. Gaining reality and losing patience.

Very easily explainable.

Nobody hates a cult more than it's ex-members who have had the blinkers taken off. When you start to question your own trans-ness, it follows that you would also start to question it in others too. Now that she has realised that she was a woman all along and has given birth to a child, she's no longer interested in this shit-for-brains and his LARP as a retard woman with a penis. None of that matters now- she wants and needs him to step up and be a man and a father, or fuck off and let someone else pick up the baton.

If this guy cared about the wellbeing of his child one iota, he would happily take either course of action. Sadly I suspect he'll take the third option- fail to realise and embrace his obsolescence in this new dynamic and entrap her for the rest of her days in endless legal battles, with the child in the middle of it all. Neither parent is blameless here- she willingly let a troon stick his girldick in her and is going to discover the entirely predictable consequences of doing so.

Poor kiddo, though. Many such cases.

Zero shock. a woman gives birth and wakes the fuck up. happens a lot. a girl I used to go to highschool with was a reaaaally loose party girl, she got pregnant, and suddenly she got all her fucking shit together and became quite the woman. Pregnancy changes women. Being a mother changes women. it should men too. it's, like, a shitton of responsibility and suddenly you cant afford to be fooling around with your gender identity or weird ideologies that don't work like "enbydemiqueer" something.
