Almost all online trans spaces are by far dominated by people that are either very early into transition, haven't started yet, or questioning.

But then there's me, I'm almost 3 years into HRT, pass as cis, have no dysphoria anymore, basically by all means I've already transitioned fully to the extent I want to.

I guess... I just wish there were any trans spaces for people that already have all this "figured out", I'm honestly kinda tired of the same 3 or 4 questions coming up again and again

The American Psychiatric Association conducted a post mortem study on the brains of trans people and found that the stria terminalis. The main connector of the hypothalamus and amygdala was well known to be different sizes amongst cisgendered men and women. The stria terminalis in trans people corresponded to the gender we identify as. Not our Assigned Gender at Birth. Regardless of whether they received gender affirming care or not. So being trans might have some biological components but more research needs to be conducted to draw a better conclusion. The medical terminology tends be pretty awful and transphobic. So be aware of that before clicking the article.

The present review focuses on the brain structure of male-to-female (MtF) and female-to-male (FtM) homosexual transsexuals before and after cross-sex hormone treatment as shown by in vivo neuroimaging techniques. Cortical thickness and diffusion tensor imaging studies suggest that the brain of MtFs presents complex mixtures of masculine, feminine, and demasculinized regions, while FtMs show feminine, masculine, and defeminized regions. Consequently, the specific brain phenotypes proposed for MtFs and FtMs differ from those of both heterosexual males and females. These phenotypes have theoretical implications for brain intersexuality, asymmetry, and body perception in transsexuals as well as for Blanchard’s hypothesis on sexual orientation in homosexual MtFs. If this is the study I think it is (too lazy to check) the observed differences were only in the trannies who'd been injecting cross-sex hormones. The corollary of the study, of course, which is that male and female brains are different, and its implications regarding intrinsic differences in male and female psychology, with further implications for what that means regarding the suitability of men and women for various cognitive tasks and social roles, are absolutely, unequivocally not allowed to be investigated or discussed.

I am not sure if this is the same paper or one of the older ones and I'm phoneposting so sorry for quick and dirty explanation, but I remember reading someone debunking those "trannies have brains of their desired sex" studies.
Gay men have brains looking kinda sorta like hetero women brains and vice versa for lesbians. As most of those studies are quite old (way before "AGP skirt go spinny, I came out during covid" era), most trannies participating were probably homosexual, since they were way more likely to be out and about back then. So the studies found some differences, but misattributed them.
I wonder if there are any studies where it's being taken into account. I want to see a """transbian""" brain, either in a paper or splattered over a wall, doesn't matter.
