I'm tempted to say I'd get a switch, but I wouldn't want to make it worse.

Instead I'd probably just cry for days and ask what the hell I did wrong, but ultimately let my husband deal with it and take him into the woods for a month long backpacking trip.

Let me put it in bullet points since that's the easiest way to weigh the pros and cons of these things.

It's a fetish:

• You discovered you like jacking off in women's clothes as a form of humiliation. This is not good for the ego.
• You are now a super gross oppressor of women deep inside.
• You are also emasculated, devaluing yourself. You may get horny doing it but it still takes its toll.
• You have to face your real problems if you want to feel better, which feels endless and a sisyphian task.

It is NOT a fetish and your true self:

• You are a woman 24/7, your not fetish always giving you a boost of serotonin when you are reminded.
• You don't have to feel internal shame about feminine habits, and can reframe it to not devaluing yourself but EMPOWERING your womanself.
• You have a network of people just like you who share your love of womanhood and circlejerk each other with complements and advice.
• You have an easier path to mental wellbeing: 1. Admit woman. 2. Dress like woman you are. 3. Take hormones. 4. Complete (optional to some) surgeries. 5. You are now valid and mentally stable because you are woman. That isn't how it works, but when you're feeling depressed you don't have the clearest thoughts and worldviews.
• You gain social clout online and you feel like you're a part of a team. Men love teams and competition (see: sports, war, competitive video game, big male audiences, not bad just how men tend to enjoy). Fighting for a team brings endorphins, so dunking on phobes and terfs is great dopamine.

Basically, the short term path to instant happiness (NOT A FETISH) is easier than realizing the long term path of working on yourself (it's a fetish and I have to accept that and work on myself) is what it all is.
I have genuine respect for the later who try to improve themselves as the struggle is real and it's always something to admire when people try to better themselves. It's why I like kiwis who talk frankly about their own struggles and how they work on them, good job my fellow mentally ill shitposters, best of luck to all of us. My situation is bleak and it's my fault. My wife who I dearly love is becoming more and more intolerant. I came out to her a few years ago and it went as bad as it could possibly go. I made a stupid agreement so she wouldn't leave me. I said I would continue to live and present in male mode as long as she would stay with me. It worked fine for a while until the changes started to show.

I still present male like I told her I would. Now she has become hateful to me. In one breath she loves me in the next she tells me I've ruined her life and that I owe her for putting up with my crazy ass. I'm told constantly that my appearance is a slap in the face to her and I owe it to her to de transition to make her feel better.

I don't think she loves me, I think she loves the Idea of who I was. She tells me constantly how I've made a selfish decision that was just a choice. She will not understand it was not a choice and she does not understand the pain it causes me to have to hide to keep her happy. In her eyes I'm just selfish. At one point she even threatened to kill me because I would humiliate her and the kids.

My life is screwed.

This might be controversial, but in my opinion, it's sexually abusive to steal clothing, and particularly sex toys, from a woman for the sake of a fetish, even if the woman in question never finds out about it. It would really not surprise me to learn that it correlated strongly with other sexually deviant behavior and violence against women or children. The "dark triad" or MacDonald triad has been mostly debunked, aside from the aspect involving torture of animals, but I wonder if stealing clothing from a mother figure for the purposes of sexual gratification in adolescence predicts future (sexual) criminality.
