It's not what they want.
Exactly this. They want you to treat them like actual women. That means they get to use the women's room, play on the women's team, etc. They will accept no compromises. Giving them a special "trans" division in sports, for instance, says "you don't get to play on the women's team because you're not a woman," and that's super transphobic, so they don't want it. It's also why they want to date real, actual lesbians, not tranny girl-cock "transbians," because they want you to treat them like actual women. Having to date other trannies, play on a special sports team, or use a special bathroom invalidates their whole delusion.
