CA made her even uglier than the fucking GW model, too. That's a level of ugly that's not just deliberate, but takes significant effort to pull of.

Its because they've a significant number of laughably puritanical fans who all boardwagoned on complaining about "Waifu Mods" from 3K when the female social media manager got huffy. They all clutch pearls at any form of female sexuality which is why other known attractive (at times) female leaders are usually scuffed up or completely covered with very conservative bodies.

Even Hellebron who is said to be just as gorgeous as the ever young Morathi when keeping up her rituals always has granny liver spots and wrinkles. If they put her in more conservative equipment it would not fly past GW since its breaking their lore. Make her an ugly combat grandma? Yeah no that's fine.

They should've either gone full Bloodletter head with Valkia or given her hair because this conehead look is bland as hell.

That shit only lasts for a couple months and can only be done once a year on Death Night since Morathi cockblocked (ovary blocked?) her from having access to the really good de-aging magic. That said, when combat granny does have her annual blood bath she comes out better looking than Morathi... but just for that one night before she starts getting old again. Gotta love the petty jealousy of women, am I right?

Oh yeah the lore on that entire thing is absolutely hilarious and fitting. Morathi only gave her the watered down equivalent of the ritual so she could not permanently be her equal in strength or beauty. Even so there's likely a period (hoho) where she's quite gorgeous before the liverspots start kicking in. Natch CA just made her permanently ugly as sin despite it being both a game mechanic and a campaign mechanic that she can end the need for constant sacrifice by defeating Morathi.

I haven't looked to find a mod for it but I'd expect there's something to revamp her and the Witch Elves since they also are intentionally messed up to look less appealing. God forbid crazy naked elf women look nice when that's part of their schtick.

Really mods for the game continue to blow me away how they can put in as much free stuff as a DLC with looks close to equal by clever kitbashing. The legendary lord packs from Mixu make playing around the Empire and Brettonia so much more interesting. You'll see far less generic Generals of the Empire, though the AI still likes to point dump skills in the dumbest places. Why yes, its a great idea to pour all your points into buffing artillery's performance when you possess absolutely none and never built the means to make them

Oh God, Mixu's mods are fucking lovely. Won't lie, I have the fucking hots for a certain vampire Kislevite (I'm a sucker for white hair) so I'm hoping she shows up once he gets to work. Especially since she's become as gun-loving as any Imperial since a double-shot of silver ball is a nice deterrent against any vampires that come after her for one reason or another.

And yeah, the lack of crazy elf titties is saddening. Although I haven't noticed all that much since I play Empire almost religiously because its hard to beat faith, steel, gunpowder, and DGKs with halberds.

Yeah I'm hoping mixu, Sigmars Heirs and a couple of others get ported quickly so I can paint the map red as Sigmar intended

I did find it funny that for the most part the Elves don't get a lot of bonus lords. Though I found out the hard way during a brief foray into an Everqueen run that the invading Druchii DO have a new immortal lord who can and will rush your ass out of the gate. He's not a direct match for the Everqueen but it was an unexpected haymaker.

I too play the Empire way too much and probably will play some form of them first. It's that or Dwarfs but their stuff isn't changed much from what I've seen.

I mean, I'm already going to be invading Cathay when they refuse a trade deal that involves Karl Franz's All Natural Poppy Painkiller. I can't wait for CA to post up a blog article talking about how eager people are to invade Cathay with Old World nations (especially Bretonnia), because you know its going to happen. Don't forget Albion is a place, so I'm hoping some mad lad mods in proper Englishmen.

Edit: Damn, that's where Be'lakor is, so nope. Then again, we all know who the true Everchosen is...

Be'lakor is here to introduce them all to some fine Slaaneshi products, all he asks is for them to ship over some tea leaves (and their souls).

Though speaking of Albion wasn't there a mod that added an Albion 'natives' army? I don't remember if it was Campaign playable but I do remember at least a video or two of them being played in an MP match. It was all decent kitbashing that leaned heavily on Norsca. Something like that would be an interesting inclusion since the game very blatantly lacks a lot of neutral-ish factions.

Really the most that come in mind to me is Tomb Kings since their beefs are mostly with people who fuck with them or have historically troubled them like Vampires or your usual attempted World Ender factions. Warhammer 3 added Ogres who are one of the other ultimate Third Party factions.

Not holding my breath for Albion to actually be put in but since Cathay was basically pulled out of CA's ass there's a possibility of some interesting things. ..Hope we get Chaos Dwarfs first though.

I would totally play as Elizabeth the Everchosen. I can't think of anything more foul and corrupting to spread across the globe than English "food" after all.

You are talking about OvN Lost Factions. It adds many playable faction(battle and campaign) such as Arabia, Albion, the Chaos Dwarfs, the Moot/Halflings and a few more. Overall, the mod was not bad at all, at least for a few factions.

For me it was certainly fun to fight vampires and chaos as the Moot, with armies of hobbits mounted on giant roosters, kitchen steam-tanks and treemen. If I recall right you could have acces to the Empire's mages too but I might be wrong. With them you can give your newly conquered province to Karl Franz to help the empire expend, you also can have a kind of "undercity" inside your ally's cities(dont quote me as I played them more than a year ago) and if I remember well the goblin kitchen was added to them.

I cant wait to do it again and paint the whole map Red and Green.

Now I just have to spend a billion dollars on DLC races and other games because what is the point of doing it if you aren't going to have EVERYBODY.

Yeah that's the downside of this game (and any 4x game tbh). Many of the dlcs can often be found for cheap on places like fanatical or instant gaming.

Does it fix performance issues? For some reason TW3 runs like absolute trash (and is borderline unplayable) whilst TW2 was a regular 40fps on ultra unit size unless I was skelly spamming.

Damnit Settra lost his starting Sphinx, but did get 2 Archers and an additional Tomb Guard. Not sure if thats a good trade off.

Edit: and Lost normal Chariots for Archers ones.
