Yea Skrag has the Korq'Gar start aka just put in the corner and do what you want. So yea if you played him and didn't like Ogres then probably not for you, just off that though save yourself some time and just skip Nurgle.
Tried out Nurgle as well, but I didn't love the roster. Playstyle is alright,I guess.

The Nurgle stuff might be really cool on the Immortal Empires map if you can sneak somebody to the Cathay area and catch a trade caravan going into the Empire or Britonia and give em a long lasting super spreadable plague.

OH FUCK, I just advocated for making The Rona in Warhammer.

The big issue is they don't specify well if a cavalry unit is an actually capable melee mosh-pitter or a shock cavalry unit. With Kislev if its not on a bear it's shock cavalry, full stop. Dervishes are extremely fragile and are meant for skirmish. Winged Lancers are okayish shock cav, and Griffon Legion is your Big-Boy-Fancy Shock horses. Except they leaned so heavily into the bear theme that the previously iconic Legion unit is now just.. present.
There is also the fact that I am just really shit at the game cause I have never touched a Total War Game before so I am getting used to a lot of stuff at once with a faction that doesn't seem to play by the normal rules.

I've been trying the campaign as Kislev (I wanna unlock Daddy Boris, because he should be the one to Save Ursan tbh) and I really don't like the fact that all their units are some weird hybrid of range and melee and I am never quite sure they are using their melee weapons while in melee.

Also Calvary is kinda shit. "Good against Infantry" should mean Good against Infantry, not "good against infantry if I micromanage them to run back and forth repeatedly"
Cavalry sucking shit has been a problem all throughout game 2 even. Many bugs relating to infantry charge bonus, unit mass, and charge reflect.

So I am hearing less Horsie Faggots and I should make Katarina a crazy cat lady?
Yes, monstrous units are almost always better.

However, if you still want to have a horse unit or two, I recommend learning the J key for using them. Charge in, and after connecting for a few seconds hit J. J should be the shortcut for disengage, which will tell your cav to stop fighting and turn around. In Warhammer 2 it always worked better then simply telling them to move away from an infantry blob.

Well Nurgle may be really cool for ME since it can do what it does best, Slow and Steady. And when you have 5+ provinces cycling a bunch of units a turn, the only issue I see is having to keep your finances up in case your finances take a hit when your cycles are in the low.

Oh no, I just meant for the chance to spread Daddy Nurgle's love across the entire world if you get lucky.

A lot of the series cav is pure shock if its not a monster so you're almost always better off building Monstrous or Monstrous Cavalry to be your hammer units. Even Blood Knights and Dragon Princes who should be the cream of the cavalry crop have sub-par trades if you don't cycle them. I'm also not sure what LL buffs your cavalry if any of them even do. I think Boris goes for bears and Tzar Guard, Katarin is all about her ice units, and Kostaltin buffs Kossars I think.
God, that's why I love the Empire. If it can't be solved with guns, get bigger guns. And if they can't solve it, throw some DGK's with halberds at it. Monstrous Cav with AP and anti-large? Hell yes!

The Empire is my favorite because of that, you can build so many variants of armies in campaign that any general can give you a different experience. I'd STILL love some Ulrican units though.

Yeah, Ulricans and non-Sigmar stuff in general could and should be added for sure. Would love me some Taal stuff like this angry little motherfucker.

Or the Knights of Taal's Fury who have themselves the stereotypical Teutonic Order horned helmets.
There's also the Cult of Verena. Real big fans of hooters since the owl as the bird of wisdom is one of their goddess's main symbols.

Well those fucking faggots better help me after I got stuck mired in their forever war against the vampires.

I don't actually remember if 3 has all of Sylvania but if so there is at least the gold mine at the VC capital as a carrot at the end of that particular stick. It's just that the stick is haunted and surrounded by extremely angry monsters.

And you've gotta purge it of all that 100% Vampiric Corruption once you finally get it.

I wish Kislev had more artillery. I'm a very artillery-intensive kind of player, I love putting 6 rocket launchers in an army occasionally and watching all of the pretty explosions.

Try Ogres those Ironblasters shred things right now and doesn't seem to matter what it is either.

Oh I am less trying to get rid of the vampires (though not having vampires on my southern borders is PROBABLY just a good thing anyway) but The Empire and I got into a Defensive alliance then the Vampires declared war on The faction I had the alliance with, I am just hoping that Karl Franz repays the favor because Kugath Plaguefather keeps fucking with my northern settlements.

For people who hate Bathing, The Plague Niggers keep getting on Boats and sailing south to give me shit.

That's the weird thing I noticed with this game, things across the map will declare war on you. Even worse is the Ogre Contracts, go across the map and kill this one guy for....554 gold.

I think Chaos factions are Automatically at War with everyone except Other factions of their god and generic chaos warrior groups, which makes sense given how Chaos works.

I just Wish Kugath would stop shitting on my front Porch every 10 turns.
