It's crazy that he put up a warning and people who have posted here for years decided it would be funny to make their lives and Josh's court case more complicated for no reason.

It honestly feels like a lot of people here, including myself and others that grew up with the internet of the '90s, 2000s, and very early 2010s, treat the web as a separate world. The social media addicted normies and the corpos, however, treat it as an extension of the real world, where your online identity is synonymous with your real-world identity. Elliot, despite being an ugly nerd that grew up with the 2000s web, belongs to the latter group.

Null did not, in fact, bend the knee. People seem to say that whenever anyone does literally anything besides total retard war. Maybe if the users on the site stopped treating this like racial-slur-Reddit and actually paid attention to things, it'd still be open. But saying a guy who's putting a mortgage-worth of cash into lawsuits to let you shittalk online is bending the knee is, well, stupid.
 
Let’s say that a road causes damage to your car. The owner is aware of it and tells people not to drive in it. People still drive on it. Okay, this is getting expensive. Let’s close the road until the problem is addressed. Now people are mad that they cannot use the broken road anymore. I don’t get it either.

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of the cure. I feel it should be fully justified to comment, make parody of and ridicule people for any reason, especially if the content you share is fair use. But this is a clear case of the copyright legal system being abused for censorship and revenge, something Null has tweaked out about for fucking years. You may find it detestable, but it would not be unwise to take this consent accidenter's threats seriously at least during his sudden remergence of activity.

Never interrupt an enemy when they're making a mistake. Elliot will make a mistake somewhere in all of this, but, if we as a community keep being retarded about this, we're basically helping that thing put some pieces together.
