These individuals are obsessed with tornado sirens. Yup. Tornado sirens. For those of us living in the Midwest the monthly test of these sirens are of minor annoyance. However siren fans record the monthly tests of said sirens. Siren fan's can even identify the make and model of a siren.


Some siren fans even collect sirens.

There are even siren fans who make cartoons featuring sirens as cartoon characters!
 
I think sirens are kind of cool on a visceral level. It's the sound of impending doom.

So not only does Ralph film tornado sirens, elevators and other random shit, he also films himself vomiting:


So, I guess my question is that I found a connection between the Elevator Fandom and puking, and now the Tornado Siren Fandom and punking. Has anyone got an elaborate explanation for this?

I tried to find some "Elevator Fandom"-tier drama/infighting, but there really isn't much that I could find. It seems that the Siren Fandom have enough maturity to just delete/ignore people that they don't get along with ):
 
This thread made me realize that for any mundane object that exists there is probably a community of spergs who obsess over it. Looking forward to the traffic light and fire hydrant threads.
