Has Todd in the Shadows made a video on Brad Paisley's album The Wheelhouse? It's so bad in a very funny way. I remember another leftist music YouTuber made a video about a song from the album called "Accidental Racist," and I found it super funny. The YouTuber who made it whined about the song for cringey reasons, like it being too sympathetic to the South, but nevertheless, I think that song and album deserve a Todd video.
Todd and Rap Critic did a video on Accidental Racist ages ago ETA: it's not embedding properly, here's the link https://youtu.be/3ML3066YRUA?si=Kr9qk-Anl17bXJMS

You're right. Todd made a video about it. I found this video right after I made my post, but I had already written it, so I didn't want to discard it. I probably should have edited it, but I forgot to. Thanks for the link.

2013, actually, but Todd and RC's continued hatred for each other reached full peak here, to the point that it ended up being their final collab and they had a falling out. I have zero idea what their problems were with each other, but it does explain as to why Todd has no friends anymore--with the type of person he is, nobody would want to be around him, either.

And this review also led to Todd using the review as a running gag throughout 2013 (as well as "Hoedown Throwdown") because god forbid he lets that shit go. Running gags need to die.

Todd and Rap Critic Hating each other? That was just a bit for this video where they argued over who was responsible for the song being as bad as it is: the singer vs the rapper.

Todd inspired a video?

I didn't expect Angela Collier to be an actual physicist lol. Appears to be woke as shit but hey, respect.

It's easy to understand why this guy went nowhere after this "hit", the song is fucking shit.
Which the video basically says. Frankly, the influence is more in the synth/techno sound that became a mainstay of the 80s than the lyrics or melody structure. It was a novel fluke that more talented, skilled artists took and did more with.

I don't what Todd's beef is with Bryan Adams, but I do not tolerate his rotten behavior when mentioning him in the OHW video for "Life Is a Highway". Is that yet another decomposed dead horse that he refuses to stop beating because fuck originality?
It all goes back to his Worst Songs of 1991 video. Go to the 10:23 mark. Bryan’s song “Everything I Do (I Do It For You)”, was placed at number 1. He talked about why he hated it, but also discovered that for some unknown legal reason, Bryan Adams had ALL information about him and his career removed from Allmusic, and Todd just lost it.

I have no idea if that issue has been resolved with AllMusic, but the combination of shitty music and going after anyone with info about him rubbed Todd the long way.

Ah, yes, the video that has Todd in his usual child-hating self by ragging on Another Bad Creation, cheats by including songs that he'd never heard before ("One More Try" by Timmy T and "The Postman Song" by Stevie B) and doing the aggravating "taking lyrics literally" approach in regards to "Everything I Do."

Oh, and Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves wasn't all that bad. I stand by it.

For the historical top 10 lists he did, wasn’t the point that he was going over that year’s year end list, no matter how obscure those songs are? He even mentions that 1991 was especially a blip: “90% of the artists who have a hit in 1991 will be has beens by the end of 1992” (his words). I don’t know how you could argue he was “cheating” like with Chappell Roan and “Pink Pony Club” in his Best Hit Songs of 2024 list.
