I am borrowing this idea from another forum, you post something or things you have done today.

Today I have seasoned some new Cast Iron pan's and started reading a new book on a dead language.
 
I changed out the pythons substrate and added moss to the tank. She seems to love the moss.
 
Today I had class. And made some irresponsible decisions. And then made responsible ones.

What language? :o I love languages and studied two dead ones at University.

Today... Well today I just woke up as it's 8am, so I haven't done much yet. But I am reflecting on all the good things I did yesterday - yesterday was a pretty productive day!

Ancient Greek, once I have a understanding of it under my belt I am hoping to start on Sumerian for something I am working on :)

So added, Latin is on my list other than a few words an phrases and Scientific Names for Animals I don't know much.
The project I am working on started as one thing an has kinda morphed into something else that requires I know the alphabets of a few dead languages and how they wrote etc.
 
Today I went out shopping! Bought myself some makeup, art supplies, a new MicroSD for my phone, probably too much alcohol, and some dumb blind bag toys.

I also bought some new frogs for my tank. I'll be working on getting them settled in here in a minute. Don't have any name ideas yet.
 
Today I'm in my school's battery shop deep cycling a NiCad battery before we recharge it and install it in the piper aerostar we have in the hangar.

God I love aircraft maintenance.
 
Today I had to deal with an insane client who wanted to sue the queen and British government because the client disagrees with the 'glorious revolution of 1688'. The charming client also wanted to sue the pope for not declaring crusades against the british while they were in Ireland and against the Muslims for the 7/7 attacks. she also wanted to sue an ex for being a 'fucking lying cunt' as he'd called her a 'fuckin whoor' but she was adamant that while she had slept with a great many other men during the course of her relationship she had never been paid to do it.

it took about an hour to get all that info from her as she was so unfocussed and she was absolutely wild when I explained that we would not be interested in representing her as i didn't think she had a case.

I've been called many things over the years but ' fuckin catholic hating masonic royalist imperial bastard' is a new one.

It was just one of those days. :S
 
I finished implementing the first half of Garmin's old-ass FMI v2.5 for our new Java tracking device server. This server passed its first Garmin text message from a tracking device to our web app. The message was "You smell."

@Ravenor , I wonder if you've seen www.ancientlives.org/ ? It is a project where hundreds of thousands of papyrus fragments from the Oxyrhynchus cache were digitized and put online for amateur transcription. If you know a bit of Ancient Greek, it becomes great fun.

In keeping with the spirit of this thread, today pretty much sucked but at least I got to spend some time with my mom.
