Why do you care so much that some sped who wanted to suicide got their wish? Yes a suicide booth would be far more convenient, but this nutcase was never going to have a long life. We have no way to permanently isolate them or force them to stay on meds, until they kill someone, so as far as I'm concerned it's one less crazy to worry about. This loon was taken out without dragging others with them, win-win.

Suicide by cop is sucky, but even more so is suicide by attacking a bunch of randoms hoping the cops will shoot you. Best would've been the waste of oxygen going down the road instead of across the street and bleeding out in a ditch somewhere, but no, they had to be a total drama whore.

1. If someone is armed with a knife you can't get into pepper spray distance without putting yourself in harm's way. Look up the Tueller Drill. There is no way to deliver OC spray accurately into someone's face from 10 meters away, short of one of those paintball guns that shoot OC-filled balls, which are a specialist weapon and beat cops do not carry those around.

2. How are European police officers "better protected" than US police officers? Especially in the context of a knife? Do all European officers walk around in cut-proof chainmail bodysuits?

3. In Europe regular cops can't do fucking anything when someone is walking around with a knife or other weapon, so they just try to shepherd the criminal and keep innocents away until the tactical officers with actual weapons show up, and at that point the perp gets shot or gives up.

Why wouldn't you show your cops training materials that are based on cases where cops have been injured or killed with knives?

Regarding shooting the lunatic in the arm or leg, in addition to being such a small target (and causing a huge nightmare for the EMTs by tearing open a major vein), there's an chance that the bullet will just go through it and the insane troon is still lunging at you.

As for 21 feet rule, it's based off the average reaction time a cop can get his gun out of it's holster to fire a single round and the maximum amount of ground someone can cover without getting a chance to stab the guy who's fumbling with his pistol.
 
This whole situation would had been avoided if only we gave police officers cqc training so they can give trannys and dindus more brain damage instead of a quick death
 
Lazy cop couldn't even activate bullet time? I could have shot the knife out of his hand, then juggled it with the rest of the clip, like the cans in hogan's alley.

No. I want police brutality trained on those who, like mouthy troons with knock off multitools, deserve it.

I do not believe for a moment that 'Scout' would have tried to attack a real cop with his little two inch saw blade. Real cops used to be able to do a great job of handling bullshit like this, because if this lunatic had gotten even one cut in before being knocked out with an ASP, he would have paid fucking dearly for it. If they can't now, it's because there are no real cops anymore.

Lol a beanbag round to the face will likely kill you. Theres a reason they're now called "less lethal," and not "less than lethal." Cops are specifically trained not to shoot beanbags at the head.
