Late comment but Pokemon is a very weird one though. There's a few characters who are hinted at being LGBTQ but nothing ever gets confirmed in the anime. I know some have argued that Nintendo as a company doesn't want to reveal anything because of backlash but even still, its weird.

There is another TIM in BG3 with a character named Nocturne who is a childhood friend of Shadowheart. The character itself feels like a throw away one because in order to meet them, Shadowheart has to eat a specific mushroom named Noblestalk in the Underdark which causes her to have memories of Nocturne. The quest in question doesn't start until Act 3 and is pretty much a sub-quest that has no bearing on the main game. So its pretty much a throw away quest.

What was once a way for people to get together to share in each other's creativity and knowledge is now a child grooming cult that is safe harbour for troons and Goonclowns in general who just sexualize everything and don't really care about the source material. Toy collecting is another one; it's filled with troons who lack any real passion for collecting and at best use collecting as a way to remain emotionally stunted consoomers and, at worst, collect because they have an ABDL fetish. The latter case is especially bad; it's led to some people saying that adults who collect toys are pedo-adjacent because they're blurring the lines between what's for kids and what's for adults. Trannies have also ruined cute things because they twist anything "cute" into validation for their fetish LARP or sexualize it because they're pedos.

Not remotely surprised. LARPers all look like they wouldn't know what the inside of a gym looks like, and medieval re-enactmenters spend a small fortune on their gear. (for comparison a full hema gear is about $1k new including sword, and a good sword by itself is like a third of that)
