It can seem a bit inconsistent at first, because when a gay couple gets the shit beaten out of them by homophobic Muslim migrants shitlibs will side with the Muslims, but when Muslim parents don't want paraphilic gay men flashing their cocks in public shitlibs side with the gays. So who outranks who? Does gay outrank Muslim or does Muslim outrank gay? And the answer is it is whoever causes the most social harm in that particular scenario, homophobic Muslim migrants cause more social harm than a normie gay couple, but sexually exhibitionist gay men cause more social harm than a normie Muslim couple. I think the key thing here is a lot of leftists see themselves in something like a spiritual war against an evil society. So anything that disrupts the normal functioning of society is a good thing.

As for the thread tax, I don't really have anything tangible to add that wasn't already written in this thread. But I do despise how the tumblrites, with them as allies, decided to play euphemism threadmill with the word "violence" and "rape" (among others) until everything was violence if the "victim" that day was in a bad mood and decided your action was such. The concept of having thick skin sounds alien to these people. I do believe that this helped cause the empathy fatigue we're seeing nowadays with them. Threatening suicide by playing to normal people's guilt and empathy will only get you so far before it stops mattering.

Related to that, I also hate how there's this concept of "I can't even be friends if you don't conform to the hivemind". Not agreeing with their delusions immediately means you're a genocider. But that's also common to both these groups, and I believe related to equating a mild disagreement with TTD.

As for hobbies, I don't have to really deal with them, since they are so few and far between in my spheres. I did get to see the cult take some acquaitances away, but they weren't close.

It's interesting, because when you see women in online men's hobbies (RC planes, model kits, firearms, etc), they're usually indistinguishable from the men (the same sort of goes for men in women's hobbies, but men don't tend to like handbags the way women like wargaming). When troons comment in women's spaces they're almost always clockable because of the creepy, sex-addict way that they type. Pooners are equally clockable because they type like 13 year olds.

• YouChew was a fun place for a little while, but then the troon admins tried to silence me for bullshit reasons.
• Several artists I’ve followed over the years have trooned out and deleted all of their older stuff to hide the fact that they weren’t always crazy.
• One community on Discord removed me from their server because my artwork didn’t look “professional” enough. Turns out the server is entirely run by troons.

TLDR: I hate everything these people touch and I wish they would stop ruining things.

I never like being political that much (outside of close friends and this forum) but especially now. Back when I was still a Discord user I was always in fear of being ousted because of something I said that could be interpreted as even slightly more conservative. I'm so glad I left because I think one of the ways trannies get to your head is the idea of any form of "wrongthink" will end in you being ostracized and losing everyone you knew there. In my opinion, a lot of these trannies are sociopaths because they are unaccepting of anything they deem as wrongthink. You're unable to debate with them or even have an actual discussion with them on the issue and maybe settle your differences. They literally just shut out the outside world and only hear what they want to hear.

But this is so much worse, and as corny as it sounds, it feels like a lifelong interest has been poisoned and tainted by garbage that wasn't even supposed to be there to begin with.

Although, to think about it, troons have poisoned all the nostalgic/simplistic/children's media at this point, ponies aren't special in this context.

They lack theory of mind. It's fascinating. They can't steelman an argument they disagree with because they can't put themselves in the position of someone who believes in different things to what they believe in. I think this is a broader thing on the modern left where they assume their enemies are just evil and their rhetoric is designed to disguise that. They can't comprehend that when a conservative says "capitalism is better than socialism" he isn't saying "we should hunt poor people for sport", he is saying "capitalism leads to greater prosperity than socialism, therefore the vast majority of people will be better off under capitalism." Obviously, I don't expect a leftist to agree with this position, but it's so strange that they don't even seem to understand it. I think this is a relatively recent thing and I think it has a lot to do with how many of them are former religious fundamentalists who changed sides. I can't see something like Obama 08 happening today because I can't see the left doing that good of a job of convincing people outside of their belief system to support them anymore.

God this brought me back. I was literally the target audience for MLP when the brony thing first took off ~15 years ago. So of course I got into it pretty quickly when I discovered it, since I already liked collecting the toys. At that young age I didn't think much of the odd demographic, but looking back it was crawling with proto-troons. The plague wasn't really there yet but a lot of those guys ended up being the same ones to troon out later. Hell for all I know some of the people I talked to on random sites that claimed to be other young girls could have been 25 year old men in reality.

Also stumbled on a lot of unsavory stuff I should not have been seeing thanks to the MLP community too. In a way the internet back then was less censored than now. I still have a soft spot for ponies, but nowadays I'm not surprised the community is full of troons trying to "reclaim their girlhood" as well as autistic pooners who grew up with the show; its kind of ironic how you find so many pooners in more stereotypically "girly" nerd interests, but I see very few of them in the more "masculine" nerd interests I have. The few other girls I've found there usually aren't into the gendershit. Of course they're both still full of male troons.

This is so incredibly minor that it seems silly to bitch about, but:

I'm in a few official game Discord servers (troons on der 'cord, shocker) and every time a community manager/dev makes a post to announce an update or blog post or something of that nature, the troons will swarm to try and react with that ugly pastel flag on the post, just to remind everyone that they're in the server. Doesn't serve any purpose other than "hey I saw this BY THE WAY I'M TRANS DID YOU KNOW I'M TRANS US IN THE TRANS COMMUNITY SAW THIS POST AND WOULD LIKE TO LET THE DEVS AND COMMUNITY AT LARGE KNOW THAT WE'RE TRANS". At least with other reacts it's to express pleasure/displeasure with changes. That one is just annoying to see.

Because I'm petty and spiteful I like to spam as many other country flags as I can when I see a brand new announcement post just so I might get lucky and have the maximum amount of reacts on a post just to prevent them from doing the trans flag react.
