Maybe not just troons but libs in general; unnaturally colored hair. Would always wish I could do it as a kid, but school didn't allow it. I did have it for a good year or two of college. Ended up getting rid of it for a job one summer and didn't go back, and realized it's probably for the best now cause it's gotten such a bad association, even back when I had it. It's kind of sad, really. I think it's quite beautiful when done right, and I have a soft spot for the old 2000s scene/emo/goth styles in general. But now no one thinks of that when they see it, they only think of the stereotypical "blue haired liberal". I don't really blame them.

Of course the modern 2000s revival is basically a single circle venn diagram with troons anyway.

I guess having autistic interests and tastes at all these days is a curse for any troon hater. Case in point, they have infested competitive Pokemon as well. What a surprise.

Its even worse when these same kids are desperate to have the autism label or another neurological disorder. Apart from autism, there were kids that were caught faking having Tourette Syndrome, DID, OCD, etc because they want the neurodivergent label.

It's interesting how this has all developed. Now you get being autistic as a sort of addition to other things rather than the main thing to be oppressed about. I guess could potentially be because a lot of very high functioning or "self-diagnosed" types use it as a sort of by the way, to highlight their other grab bag of quirks, than a real diagnosis that may be a challenging their day to day. The whole ND thing encouraged a lot of people to lean into and exacerbate the things they had issues with rather than trying to help them deal with it.

I agree with Temple Grandin that with children like that you sort of stay on top of them and make them develop some etiquette and skills dealing with people. Everyone has to learn "scripts" to deal with others. And pretending that's not the case hurts a lot of actual "ND" people.

I have seen cases of men that loose a lot of weight and decide to remove excess skin with surgeries. In most cases they get scars similar to zippertits in pooners, so a lot of people nowadays assume that these men are trans when they see the scars.
Its kind of fucked up to compare these two, at least the men got those scars for some good reason and after making a huge effort to loose weight, but pooners only get those for delusional aesthetics, not because they need it. Its undergoing a revival like all alternative subcultures(thankfully including skinheads) but the woke tranny postmodernists have made the atmosphere very unpleasant by trying to make far left politics mandatory to participate which I know is 100% bullshit because I remember the original emos. they didnt give two shits about politics. Like I said before, troons have ruined every community based around autistic/alternative interests with this exact behavior, I've seen this myself in the communities that I'm in. In almost every community that is even slightly outside of normie culture, there's this understood rule that you must be a leftist and worship troons, and if you don't you'll be ostracized and cast out.

Maybe if you pay attention to any others who also just don't talk about politics or virtue signal, it can be possible to identify them as others who may also not subscribe to it and are just keeping the peace, and make an effort to hang around and talk to them more than the others. But on the other hand in some more extreme places the resident troons and "woke police" will scold people just for NOT talking about how brave and valid they are. Thankfully that's rare outside of the internet.

She brought a trans flag with the "X character is trans" and he went "oh yeah, he's trans everything." I get he's being professional and nice, but holy fuck what a way to shove it in someone's face. The character is fully male, but one character designer actually wanted him to be a trans man. Knowing this, pooners flocked to this, inserting their headcanons and drawing fanart with the zippertit scars.
