What I find the most impressive about troons ruining scene/emo is that it's a bipartisan effort. Of course you get your run of the mill man dressed up poorly in women's clothes but the amount of scene women I've met that go by "he/him" or some other retarded derivative is insane. I'm not sure where the obsession with women who CLEARLY look like women insisting to be called male pronouns comes from but it's especially prevalent in the scene/emo communities for whatever reason.

I dunno, man, as someone who was there at the time, can we please not pretend like the emo and scene landscape of the early 2000s wasn't plagued by dysgenic, chinless men wearing makeup and dressing in women's clothing in a transparent attempt at getting laid?

The only difference now is that those men try to pretend that they're not actually men.

Scene style makes it easier to hide your man-features with all that hair and heavy makeup. Makes sense they'd latch on to it.

Emo has been ruined for a while, though. Dressing completely normal but dying your hair bright danger-colors is all people do and consider themselves emo or, "pastel goth."

Lol no it doesnt, pic related. Also Ive wanted an emo gf since forever so Ive been looking into their scene to get in and find one. Its even MORE pozzed than the goth scene I call home. Makes sense, emo boys are 90% trooned out anyway.

They ruined my desire to create a club. I was a DM for some time, I know half of my potential players will use the game to turbovirtue their gendershit and kinks. Sure I can kick them out but how many of them will I have to TTD before having a normal party like the good old days? It's to tiring just to think at it man

I agree, they were always cringe. The girls were hot though. Fun fact, they didnt make mens skinny jeans back then so the 1st generation emo boys wore womens pants, as well as the androgenous hair and makeup. They were basically 90% trooned out already as the emo song pointed out.

We should have a kiwifarms goth thread since this is the only place we can go to get away from the troons.
 
Troons have ruined being autistic.
Ausitm is now a red flag for being a troon and people can tend to expect you to troon out if your autistic.
It is actually true that there is a link but so many autists with low/no gender dysphoria could have avoided trooning to make the trope not as bad.
