You know Nayolfa never learns he did the same thing on the tvtropes forum people tried to tell him why Growing around wouldn't work and he just replied smugly and avoided actually answering actually question hell he even gave a completely different back story to the show that he clearly made up off the top of his head there as well.

Also the video that I got fed up with was the Stuck in the Wringe just the ending how he somehow completely missed the most simple joke and took it as a real massage, I was dumbstruck that anyone could not understand something that simple.

He constantly hates on Seth McFarlane. As much as I dislike Family Guy, Seth believes in and puts a lot of money toward good causes.

I don't like anything Seth McFarlane makes. However, I use a revolutionary, cutting edge coping technique to deal with this, which I call "not watching it."

I'm kinda late to this but whatever. Nayolfa, have you ever been so miserable to the point where everybody in your family is worried sick about you? Do you just want to break down crying nearly every day just because of some petty shit that happened? I've been depressed for a long time. Sometimes I'm just stuck in one place wondering what the point of living anymore is. I could go on, but at this point I think you've gotten the idea.

Anyway, if any of you want an actual decent animation reviewer, you should check out Animat/Electricdragon505. He actually knows his shit about animation, watches things before his time, doesn't complain about Spongebob and Family Guy 24/7. He does plenty of lookbacks on famous animation directors and may even review an animated film you've never heard of before. He can get a bit grating at times though. He lumps Q&A and update videos together and can get a bit spergy sometimes, but that's only when something is really bad.

I decide to try and find the post where he explains the back story but interesting I found this post from him and tvtrope member who repently now have hammered it in why growing around is not a good idea.

Take classes on animation. Learn how to draw. Produce a student film, even. It's a damn shame you can't apprentice yourself these days.

To be even safe and make sure your show is genuinely good, once you've done the above, get a job on some other show. Then you'll have some credits once you go to sell your show.

And doing that would have this project on hold for many years. Can you just possibly think that some people can make cartoons without wasting expansive amounts on a career that could fail for them.

And here what Nayolfa said was the background to the world of growing around and why kids are in control.

After a war started by greed that destroyed 60% of humanity. The adults of this world put the innocent minded children in control in order to keep society from falling again.

Is it really that hard to buy this setup? It's a "What if" scenery where kids have the roles of adults and vise versa. It's a lot more straightforward than other strange cartoons.

Did he now? Fascinating...

Ok, damned if I can't remember the title, but I'm pretty sure that is verbatim the plot of some book I read back in 5th grade.

It was shit, too.

What the fuck? That's... that's really stupid. On the plus side he must have realized it was stupid because he didn't use that explanation here, or at least I hope, but.... wow

For the love of god, can't they just spend a couple months to craft a pitch bible and expansive lore?

OK, I now officially coin into use the term "The Sonichu Effect" where lolcows create their own little personal fictions and refuse to write anything down because all that important stuff is in their heads as they are the only ones the show will ever be geared to. Thus, trying to explain it to anybody else will wildly differ in both logic and reasoning.

Not like "Some kid ended up being a ruler in history and society kind of just rolled with it" was any better a rationale.

Because it's not like kids are little greedy id-monsters who lie, cheat, steal, bully each other, or would act like a cross between Hitler and Lord of the Flies if you put them in charge of the world.

That has to be the most autistic premise I've ever seen.

This premise sucks - Besides if I wanted to see this premise in action, I'd go re-watch Codename:Kids Next Door, thank you very much. And I actually like that cartoon... For the most part. I've seen better cartoons in general, but in terms of what Growing Around is failing to do on paper and in practice before even being made......

If Enter does ever read this, he needs to just scrap this idea entirely and do some soul searching and I mean a lot of it. Stop listening to all the pathetic asskissers and dicklickers on your page.
