I wonder how he'd react if someone criticized his Growing Around episodes the way he does Casey Alexander's work.

Anyone mind if I critique his points?

#4: Consider that there are many episodes of TV shows that are started, make it into script form, but have to be scrapped because of low quality.

#8: So tell us how the world works. Give us some good reasons.

#9: It WOULD be more interesting to see how the world came to be, if all you have is this bland crap. (Also, anything would have been more interesting than the Avatar we got. But that's just my opinion, hehehe.)

I keep thinking, maybe I should send the scripts of his show to someone who has created a cartoon - maybe someone who created one of his favorites, to add to the irony - and see their reactions. I know where to contact these guys.

But then I realize, I respect these guys way too much to do that to them.
 
As far as I'm concerned, Enter has never even been in college. How the hell would he know anything about what schools like Cal Arts or School of Visual Arts are doing with their techniques? He's already letting his bias slip in with that response given how much of a hard time he had in school.

Honestly, you should do that and send it to someone who's not high profile, but who has some experience with the industry.

Most cartoonists would probably just go "This is shit", and not read past the first few lines

That too!! The teachers know what they're doing and they're passionate about art and seeing other succeed. Also, college is a great chance to network with others. I can understand not being able to go to an art school because they're really, really, really pricey. But MrEnter has no right to insult art colleges for being a waste of time when he has never even attended one. Has he seen the stuff the CalArt kids put out?? I hope he knows that a lot of cartoons on right now were created by people from CalArts. Smh.
 
I have my qualms with the way the current higher education system is set up and how overly expensive it has become over the years but that still doesn't give him any right to trash these schools the way he did in that ridiculous comment of his.
