I actually really like his videos, but I find them really hit-and-miss. While I really like how much enthusiasm he shows towards animation, sometimes he gets way too worked up, and sometimes he misses the point completely. I wish I could remember some more specific examples, but I remember thinking a few times during his reviews "he just completely missed the joke, no wonder he dislikes this episode".
When he's calmer, I enjoy his videos, but some, like his Chicken Little review, seem incredibly biased. He hated the movie so he finds whatever wrong with it that he can, when he should try to be as neutral as possible when it's... well, a review.
Then again, I didn't know much about him personally or that he was making his own series until this thread, so that's new. I was actually really surprised to see him in the Lolcow forum--but again, that's just because I enjoy his reviews.
 
Before he fucked off the internet for good, more or less, The Golden Knight a.k.a. Jay Geis had made it known he wanted to make a cartoon of one of his comics (don't remember which, they both were fucked up pedophile-worshiping self insert garbage). Before he mysteriously purged everything off his accounts everywhere short of actually deleting the accounts (where the option was availiable), he'd been running a self-glorifying wiki with an iron fist and some Kiwis also were running a counter-wiki that was, of course, far more level and comprehensive. Both wikis now no longer exist.

Mr. Enter and Friends apparently seem to be taking Jay's former spot at this rate, surpassing him even as they are legitimately trying to put something together by way of actually investing effort into doing stuff, unlike Jay who thought he was already perfection incarnate and waiting for some comic company to come-'a-callin' despite looking like a stiff breeze would snap his spine and never trying to not draw censor circles for codpieces. But more importantly: there are now dueling wikis.

Growing Around gained its logo and character picture. Also, in the infobox, make sure to remove the ---- because it does absolutely nothing inside the infobox and it fucks the top of the page up.
