Regarding unparalleled capacity (or appetite) for distraction, @Friend of Dorothy Parker , I have a daily habit of playing Spider solitaire (with all four suits) while listening to an audiobook. Somehow the non-language basis of the solitaire meshes perfectly with the language comprehension requirement of the audio and I… uh… it works really well… stress is diminished greatly… (eyes roll back in head, trickle of drool from corner of mouth.)
