I sincerely doubt this. Can you think of any other instance of a 10 plus year old game getting a paid DLC? Most people are so fickle about the technical bullshit they'd get killed just on the graphical side

Off the top of my head there's Titan Quest and Kingdoms of Amalur, but both of those are probably cheating since their respective DLCs were only for the re-releases.

But whoever bitches about Witcher 3's graphics is not a serious person, and probably a nigger. The Enhanced Edition from a couple years ago made it go from the best looking game from 2015 to one of the best looking games currently.

I agree the game does still look good, but there are definitely weirdos out there who would find plenty to bitch about Im sure.
On an unrelated note I wonder if when 4 comes out they'll start updating the online Gwent game, or if they'll just make a whole new one. That was my favorite online card game just so boring now with no new cards.

Also Two Worlds 2, though it wasn't quite 10. That one was a particularly funny entry as they also attempted to cram in microtransactions in while disabling the in game cheats... only for it to be picked apart by cheat engine bros in a matter of days. It wasn't for anything remotely interesting either, just materials and magic component shit. The dlc itself was pay $25 to fuck up your game. I don't think you could even finish it as it would inevitably crash during what was probably the final sequence.

Fatesworn for KoA was actually good, far better than Dead Kel or Teeth of Naros. I think THQ still wants to do stuff with the IP.

I tried going back to Gwent a few months ago, until I found out they do monthly updates to balance cards which is just "community voted" and there's a whole streamer/discord group controlling most of it to nerf the decks they don't like. And of course 2 of the decks I was trying to use got hit so I said fuck it.
 
I dont think whole new DLC for Witcher 3 is likely. But what I can see happening is that they will add some new quest that will tie-into story of Witcher 4
 
I don't know why we would need a fully fleshed out DLC to bridge the gap between games. I feel like they could naturally fill the player in on what's happened in 4 via side quests and conversations in game.

To try and gaslight people into thinking W4 is a natural conclusion of W3, and reverse the people who looked at the showcase reel and said 'nope, not dealing with this woke shit'. Also I am convinced the CDPR of today actively hates the people who made them successful and wouldn't mind pissing all over W3 and Gerald.
