I honestly only know about American politics from what I read on the Internet but since we all love shitting on leftists I figured we'd get a kick out of this. Also it's trending on Twitter so you know it's important.

NEW YORK — Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, a 28-year-old political novice running on a low budget and an unabashedly liberal platform, upset longtime U.S. Rep. Joseph Crowley on Tuesday in the Democratic congressional primary in New York.

The surprise victory by the community organizer in a district that includes parts of the Bronx and Queens came after an energetic, grassroots campaign that mustered more than enough support in a low-turnout race that many had expected to be an easy win for Crowley, a member of the Democratic House leadership.

“The community is ready for a movement of economic and social justice. That is what we tried to deliver,” said Ocasio-Cortez, who has never held elected office and whose candidacy attracted only modest media attention.

She told The Associated Press after her victory that she didn’t have enough money to do polling in the race, but felt in her gut that her message had a chance to connect.

“I live in this community. I organized in this community. I felt the absence of the incumbent. I knew he didn’t have a strong presence,” she said.

Crowley has been in Congress since 1999 and hadn’t faced an opponent in a primary election since 2004, when Ocasio-Cortez was just a teenager. He was considered a candidate to become the next House speaker if Democrats win the majority.

“It’s not about me,” Crowley, 56, told his supporters at a campaign party following his loss. “It’s about America. I want nothing but the best for Ms. Ocasio-Cortez. I want her to be victorious.”

He later played guitar with a band at the election night gathering, and dedicated the first song, Bruce Springsteen’s “Born to Run,” to Ocasio-Cortez.

Crowley represents New York’s 14th Congressional District, where he is also the leader of the Queens Democratic party.

Ocasio-Cortez was outspent by an 18-1 margin during her race but won the endorsement of some influential groups on the party’s far left, including MoveOn, as well as the actress Cynthia Nixon, who is running for governor. She defeated Crowley by 15 percentage points.

Born in the Bronx to a mother from Puerto Rico and a father who died in 2008, Ocasio-Cortez said she decided to challenge Crowley to push a more progressive stance on economic and other issues.

She attended Boston University, where she earned degrees in economics and international relations, and also spent time working in the office of the late U.S. Sen. Edward Kennedy.

After graduating, she returned to the Bronx where she became a community organizer. In the 2016 presidential campaign she worked for U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders.

Among her issues is expanding the Medicare program to people of all ages and abolishing Immigrations and Customs Enforcement. She recently went to Tornillo, Texas, to protest against policies that have separated parents from their children at the southern U.S. border.

Ocasio-Cortez gained some internet attention for a campaign video called “The Courage to Change,” a two-minute spot for which she wrote the script and featured footage from her own home.

Crowley is chair of the House Democratic Caucus, the fourth-highest ranking position in Democratic leadership in that chamber of Congress.

His loss drew the attention of President Donald Trump.

“Wow! Big Trump Hater Congressman Joe Crowley, who many expected was going to take Nancy Pelosi’s place, just LOST his primary election. In other words, he’s out! That is a big one that nobody saw happening. Perhaps he should have been nicer, and more respectful, to his President!” he tweeted.

The Republican candidate for the office, Anthony Pappas, is running unopposed and had no primary. Pappas teaches economics at St. John’s University.

She was a Bernie campaigner, is supported by BLM, and wants to abolish Immigrations and Customs Enforcement. Also this was in a solid-blue Congressional District so you know she's a shoo-in for next Congress.

But hey, we did get to see Trump laugh at Crowley on Twitter.

Surely the best way to show the world that Israel and the United States don’t have their hands down each other’s pants is to use the powers granted by the office of the President of the United States to enable an act of almost immeasurably childish pettiness.

I don't remember these chucklefucks having an unalienable right to enter a country of their choosing without the permission of said country's government. They are visitors to a foreign land, and if they want to ruin Israel's close relationship with the most powerful country in the world, then as the leader of Israel, I would absolutely tell you to fuck off and not come.

It sucks that hating Israel is a left wing position now, and the right has gone full boomercuck defending them. I’d do BDS but not with these chicks!

Pat Buchanan is still alive, right? Where’s he when you need him.

I have my own misgivings about Donald Trump and co., but the Left in recent times has not only lost the plot, they've managed to set fire to it while getting high on the smell of their own farts.

I never thought I'd see the day I'd be willing to defend the wall builder, but these assclowns are driving me really close.

How dare they!
Also make sure Drumpf is never allowed to set foot on European soil ever!

They had to see this coming from a mile away.

Pettiness begets Pettiness - If someone had a map of the world in their congressional office and they removed my country and replaced it with a post-it of "Palestine", they would not be invited to my country under any circumstance.

This isn't hyperbole, she actually did that https://www.jns.org/new-congresswoman-tlaib-displays-map-with-israel-replaced-by-palestine/, and then with endorsed the BDS Isreal movement.
The point is that the best way to beat them at their own idiotic game is to not fucking play it in the first place. Instead of wasting time inconveniencing a couple of dipshits who are going to learn literally nothing from it, maybe spend time upholding your campaign promises and doing what you claimed you were going to do for the country.

Please don’t act like he did this out of any form of altruism to try and protect our friends with benefits relationship with Israel. This was done out of vindictive spite because he’s an adult toddler. Israel has plenty of people that shit on the US and none of us give a shit what they think, and they don’t give a shit what two ineffectual cunts think of them. God knows there’s plenty of people in our own country who don’t give two farts in a midden what those two mouth breathers have to say.

Its one thing for any mouth breather to express dissent against Israel, but as Talib and Ohmar are actual members of Congress, they are people with actual authority and power within the US government. Its not petty to ban these people from coming when they were planning on meeting with the people who want to wipe Israel off the map.

He’s the president of the United States, if anyone should be above acting like this it’s him. I guess all I’m saying is it’s getting tiresome having a president we elected to set the country straight who wakes up every morning and spends the entire day sharting onto Twitter because people did and said things that offended his delicate feefees. Retaliating in kind to their bullshit normalizes it and incites more of it, and honestly I feel we should be above that.

Are you confused? I suspect you're trolling at this point. It's the Israeli government banning them from entering the country. The US president has shit all to do with this decision other than tweeting his support of the ban.

You don’t seriously think he had nothing to do with influencing this decision, do you...? Because of you do then maybe I’m not the one who’s confused here. He 100% tweeted yesterday that Israel would be punk ass bitches if they allowed the two into their country, and that’s not even getting into possible private communications between them about it.

Israeli law blocks entrance visas to any foreigner who calls for any type of boycott that targets Israel - either economic, cultural or academic. So, regardless of Trumps tweets, they would have been banned for supporting BDS. It just so happens that they want to visit, and now that its become relevant, they get banned.

You have a misguided idea of who has outsized influence over whom. For that matter, Trump tweeting an opinion that borders on being an obvious statement of fact is not equivalent to a direct order on who Israel should or should not allow in

Honestly those two should prefer the Israelis to have done this because 1) it gives them ammunition to be anti-Israeli and anti Republican (because of what Trump just said) and 2) it would be better for them to not be publicly allowed to come instead of the Israelis allowing them to come but then not offer any security for them which they could have chosen to do.

Nigger can we please drop this "He's the president, he's above acting like this" bullshit? We had a president straight-up cane a motherfucker near to death who was also known for challenging people to duels to the death over insults. We've had plenty others who were vociferous and unrepentant assholes, if anything he's acting exactly as a president should.

Netanyahu already gave a statement concerning the decision, too. It really does astound me that these people can spend all day and night harping on and on about how much they hate Israel while they support one boycott after the next against them, and then when the country tells them to fuck off they have the nerve to act surprised.

Not only does their own fucking itinerary mention nothing about meeting with any Israeli leaders, the fucking header flat-out says "Palestine."
Chief Dollar Coin Netanyahu strikes back against the palestine colonizers who try to invade his native land:
