Which is disappointing since they have off the grid, tiny living and the beach clean up stuff that already fits that mold. Then again, given the limited space S4 has in lots, there wouldn't be enough room for horses and such.

I could see them trying to go meta with it and have a story with the Sims discovering they're in a computer game, trying to escape to the real world and meet the devs, etc.
Someone else touched on this and I agree, I think it would be better to have a Sims show instead that could be a soap opera spoof involving fan favorite characters like the Goths, the Pleasants, Dina and Nina, Brandi Broke, etc.
 
I like the look/layout of the new town before all that eco friendly shit goes down. the sims already has a very polished eco friendly look like the city ect. gimme a bit of gross industrial, please.. ill take anything
 
Kevin strikes again! Comments on his video read that he basically single-handedly destabilized the social economy of FreeSO. They got such an influx of trolls that they couldn’t control, a bunch of people won’t log online :story:


I certainly hoped someone would come along and do something like this I just honestly never expected it to be Kevin. The big bonus of all of this is the community’s lack of tolerance for any jokes or form of fun doesn’t really make them look good. They wanted the publicity of going public but can’t handle the heat.

whats more surprising is this isnt even a stuff pack or game pack, but a full blown expansion instead

also ladders better be a free update and not locked to this 40 dollar thing no one really was asking for
 
As much as I like how smoothly Sims 4 runs and how easy it is to build and everything, it's pretty bare bones compared to the depth of Sims 3.
Sims 3 was more of a world/life simulator, with sims 4 everything just went back to being a boring old dollhouse.

I agree, the way it sounds, it should be a game pack. I like the crafting idea and making a career out of it, though. My problem is that there is things in S4 that I like, but the crashing, lack of an open world, and the growing laziness hurts it.

They did say that Ladders will be added as a free update. They probably learned their lesson from locking toilet stalls behind a paywall, although it's not much still.

The Sims Team did a livestream of the upcoming Eco Lifestyle EP, and it turned out to be not a total trainwreck somehow:


The big highlight is that in addition to ladders, EA finally got around to re-adding Firefighters to the game. Took them about 6 years to do so, and it took them longer to add firefighters compared to toddlers and troon Sim options, but they did it.
 
I kind of want eco living just to have a nice dystopia.
I hate that you can't make your own worlds in 4, it feels like you're only allowed to play the game the way the devs which is pretty limited.
 
Knitting pack is way more appealing because literally every single part of it was chosen by the community, from the type of aesthetic down to the fucking icon of it.
No one fucking asked for eco living, and rètarded ea shills keep mentioning how "people did ask for eco living it was barely beat by laundry day on the poll!!!!" I'm pretty fucking sure no one wanted an eco living pack with these features. If it was down to the community to pick, the xpac would be more focused on adding more gameplay functions for off the grid and recycling, maybe with a dash of farm and livestock. Not this shitty "rebuild a disgusting city" schtick that just like strangerville will get really old really fast after the first time you play it. At least strangerville was just a game pack (and even then it somehow feels like it had more content than this fucking expansion pack lmao)
